AI Summary
This argumentative proposal examines the profound impact of computer technology on individual thinking and information processing abilities. The paper argues that the increasing reliance on computers and related applications has led to a decline in critical thinking, imagination, and problem-solving skills, while also creating privacy and security concerns. The proposal highlights the negative effects of social media and simulation on self-identity and social interactions. The author's thesis is that computer technology limits the ability to think and process information among individuals, and deep and conceptual learning can overcome these limitations. The proposal supports the thesis with evidence from various sources which discuss technologically enhanced learning, the challenges in mobile cloud computing, and the impact of social media on self-identity. The research suggests that deep learning can positively impact higher-order thinking, thus providing insights for teachers and curriculum builders. The study also emphasizes the importance of understanding how social media influences user behavior. This assignment provides a comprehensive overview of the negative impacts of computer technology on individual thinking and proposes deep and conceptual learning as a solution.

What are the Impacts of Computer on Thinking Process of Individuals?
Abstract
Computer and information technology has transformed our world and has
made it more complex, hybrid and global. Due to the advancement of computer and
information technology, approaches and definitions have changed in many aspects.
Studies have shown that due to the dependency on computer and its related
applications, individuals are losing their ability to think, imagine and perform simple
calculations that were symbolic of successful scholars. The changes in technology
has also given birth to the emerging privacy and security issues. The use of word
processors and power point has taken away the ability of students to produce
powerful and valid material which in turn has resulted in the decrease of educational
quality. Due to simulation and social media use, the individuals are losing their sense
of self and are becoming limited and dwarfed in the social situations. Research
suggests that these limitations can be overcome through deep learning and
conceptual teaching which enables better learning in a machine learning
environment. Research till now has only focused on the positive aspects of machine
learning and has rarely focused on the limitations that it creates within individuals.
This research will include all the aspects of computer and information technology
advancement and how they have crippled the society and individual emotionally and
intellectually.
THESIS STATEMENT: Computer and related technology has limited the ability think
and process information among individuals and deep and conceptual learning can
overcome these limitations.

technology-enhanced learning environments? The effects of learner

Technologically enhanced learning (TEL) environment enables individuals the
ability to engage in high order thinking. High order thinking is becoming increasingly
important for academic and workplace success. In order to successfully implement
such designs, a groundwork needs to be laid which includes epistemological beliefs,
individual approach to learning and their attitude towards the use of technology. The
study includes 487 undergraduates across different disciplines to find correlation.
The study finds that deep learning approach is the only contributing factor that
positively impacts high order thinking. The other two factors have negative impact on
the same. The implication and importance of the study lies in the result as teachers
and curriculum builders can use this research to develop teaching style, learning
environment and curriculums that would promote deep learning and would eliminate
the epistemological beliefs and attitude towards use of technology. The source
includes proper sample size and necessary statistics to establish the claims. The use
of language is academic and the proper citations have been given.

Technology has advanced beyond measure and with that comes new issues
and concerns related to privacy and security. The article focuses on the aspect of
mobile cloud computing. This paradigm provides individuals an opportunity to access
and modify data through cloud memory. In learning environments too, this
technology is becoming increasingly popular. Large universities need large amount
of space for storing all the necessary data and cloud computing is the answer to that.
The communication of cloud computing is wireless which leads to new sets of
privacy and security concerns. The authors present several challenges of mobile
cloud computing and the present approaches to data security solutions. The authors

conduct a longitudinal study on the previous literature on both the aspects and
compares and contrasts results. There are some issues that still needs to be
addressed though, the implication of the study remains intact. The research shows
the present practices and practice gaps for information security. The research is a
quantitative study and thus produces results of existing literature.

Social media is the new phenomena that has emerged due to the
advancement of computer technology. Social media has led to a loss of self-identity.
Social media participation is based on personal self-identity, social identity and
relational identity. It depends upon the user to determine the kind of communication
that they want to engage in. the authors conducts several methods to identify the
impacts of social media use on the sense of self. The research shows that social
media use is not affected by relational identity or varied use. The importance of the
study are many. The study suggests that individuals engage in different kinds of
behavior. The study also helps in understanding on the relationship between social
self-identity and IS usage. The research provides important insight into the behavior
of social media users which the service providers can use to influence consumer
behavior. The study is conducted by postdoctoral researchers and professors and
thus are valuable source of information. The study is presented in a structured and
cohesive manner.
