childhood start, in order to earn money, which they used to buy food for themselves and their
family member. This work is physically, morally, mentally and socially harmful and dangerous
to a child who is not being able to understand the actual meaning of work, but do so to live. The
current assignment is based on specific concept, and that is child labour. It will define the
comparative form of report based on arguments for and against the action of banning all types of
child labour in supply chains. The current topic is important, because it describes the fact and
varied points of views related to the action taken by national and international authorities.
MAIN BODY
Overview of supply chain
A supply chain is described as network of organizations and their suppliers who are able
to distribute and supply quality products to whom they need these the most. It also refers to set of
activities that has been conducted, in order to obtain the benefits and achieve set aims. Each
activity give management chance to grow their venture, even better than last few years or months
in effective and productive manner.
Argument for banning child labour in supply chain
According to, Haq and et.al., (2020) in many nations' government take decision to ban
child labour in supply chain activity of several organizations, whether it is national or
international, which is quite effective and appropriate action. Just because of banning all type of
children's labour, high authorities may save the life of small child's who are facing mental and
physical illness due to this harmful practice. They benefit each and every child in term of
eliminating violation of their fundamental rights, which may hinder their development, mental as
well as physical health. This decision may provide advantages to everyone in term of
strengthening economies, influencing education, protection and health systems worldwide.
In the view of, Tang, Engstrom and Srakaew, (2020) by banning child labour related to
supply chain operation of organizations, government bodies play vital role to mentally and
bodily save children's health, which is quite essential to do so for anyone, who consider this kind
of activity around them and tend to take action against that.
It can be said that in accurate term, child labour for 5-18 years age extent is highest in the
India as 5.8 million followed by Pakistan 3.4 Million, Bangladesh 5.0 and Nepal 2.0 (Child

labour in South Asia, 2021). 17 millions children's are included in category of child labour
according to this data, which destroy their lives, but not more than now, because the decision to
ban any type of exploitation of children for work.
Ansong, (2020) stated that elimination of child labour is important and beneficial action
that taken in many countries in order to save teenagers from being exploited by major harmful
factors that put negative impact on their well-being whether it is mental or physical. It is one of
the best and most effective decisions that help in development of children's in the future.
Argument against banning the child labour in supply chain
Mehta and Mohanty, (2020) define that when government banned child-labour, they put
negative impact on those children's, who are unable to eat food daily and belong to those
families, in which they are the one that accountable to earn money. This kind of judgement may
do not put huge positive impact on those children's who are living lonely, as they do not have
any family or relatives that can support them to live a normal life like others. Just because of
child slavery, many families in the world are unable to survive, as they may have only this option
to fulfil their needs and requirements.
Churchill and et.al., (2021) contradict that in some nations, parents due to their physical
inability may consider their children's as a reliable and specific source of income, due to that
they sent them to work and earn money, which they utilized to buy food for them. These types of
child's are one of the biggest support for their poor families, but due to child slavery band, they
are unable to support own self as well as family.
Trinh, (2020) argued that those individual children's who tend to get education and
become educated, but unable to do so, are driven towards child labour option in supply chain,
through which they earn and spend money for school fee by working during their free period.
When child -labour is band they are not being about to educate themselves and grab chance to
become well-educated person, who get excellent experience from the beginning of their
childhood, for which no specific course work is require.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above arguments, it has been concluded that banning all forms of child
labour action has saved the life of many children's. By following the appropriate and suitable
suggestions, community or society has overcome this challenge in effective manner.

RECOMMENDATIONS
The best way to overcome child slavery and all their drawbacks, government can take
initiatives in term of providing better education service to poor family children's, which enable
them to child-labour negative impact on individual teenager. With the help of this action, they
can prevent child from being a victim of lack of financial stability, due to which they chose the
option of doing work in those companies where supply chain operation give them benefit to earn
money and fulfil their needs along with family members.
Furthermore, on the basis of above analysis, it can be said that national and international
authorities can set age limit, which a company can consider and then hire individual child
accordingly. They can also take decision to provide better unemployment chances to all ladies
and men's in the house, especially vulnerable, according to that parents may take step back to
send their child to do work in supply chain.
