Introduction
Following the Research and Analysis Part- I, Part II will be mentioning the SWOT analysis and
environmental constraints of the chosen organization “Aritzia”. Aritzia is an online women
shopping brand. It is a fashion brand for the ladies ages 15-30. This brand is meant for the elite
class ladies and girls. Aritzia started its business in the year 1984. Further, the shareholders,
organization structure and design along with the theories and strategies used for motivating
employees will be discussed. Further, recommendation will be mentioned to improve the
business. Control strategies will be discussed which Aritzia uses to monitor its plans and
activities.
Introduction
Following the Research and Analysis Part- I, Part II will be mentioning the SWOT analysis and
environmental constraints of the chosen organization “Aritzia”. Aritzia is an online women
shopping brand. It is a fashion brand for the ladies ages 15-30. This brand is meant for the elite
class ladies and girls. Aritzia started its business in the year 1984. Further, the shareholders,
organization structure and design along with the theories and strategies used for motivating
employees will be discussed. Further, recommendation will be mentioned to improve the
business. Control strategies will be discussed which Aritzia uses to monitor its plans and
activities.

SWOT Analysis
The strengths which Aritzia has are:-
Highly trained and professional designers-The designers at Aritzia are highly trained and are
professional. They are aware of the modern fashion and also have a good knowledge about the
fabrics and materials. They are highly creative and innovative (Aritzia, 2019). The designers
produce their own dress materials for the people. To take advantage of the designers, Aritzia can
create more unique and innovative stuff which will help in increasing more customers to the
stores.
The weakness of Aritzia is-
Only producing women clothes and accessories- Being a famous brand, Aritzia only produces
clothes which are made for women. All the accessories are created for women(Aritzia, 2019).
This can slow down the growth of the company. This weakness can be improvised if the brand
starts manufacturing clothes and other accessories for men and kids also. If the consumer sees
that Aritzia sells men’s accessories also, that would increase the sales of the company. Not only

With the introduction to new media, there are advantages and disadvantages both. The threat is
that anybody can copy the idea of the website and can create a duplicate website to defame the
organization. Also, cyber hacking will be promoted. Anyone can get access to the financial and
personal accounts of the website. To recover this threat, Aritzia should provide only that much
information which the people should know. Keep all the documents confidential and private.

are so many organizations that work for women. It will create a good impression in the minds of
the people.Also, promotion can be done in newspapers, radios and televisions about the brand,
what they work for, what are the services provided and to whom. This promotion will help in
increasing the customers.

Aritzia specific environment defines its suppliers, customers and competitors.The customers of
Aritzia are young women and ladies. Elite young ladies and women because Aritzia is an elite
class brand(Aritzia, 2019).The competitors of Aritzia are the other elite brands like H&M, GAP
and Barneys New York.Specific plans and Strategies should be done in order to maintain the
competition in the market.Aritzia is a world-wide famous clothing brand. As it operates globally,

Economic- All the policies relating to trade, exports and imports and done according the macro

with basic needs which motivate him to work hard. These needs are psychological needs, safety
and security needs which define the safety of job and income, belongingness and love needs,

help in calculating and solving the assumption that could cause the problem (Mymanagement,
2012). Concurrent Control- This control is exercised when the activity is in progress. All the
problems are highlighted and are corrected accordingly (Mymanagement, 2012).
In my opinion, Aritzia is performing Concurrent and Feedback Controls. Aritzia seeks the
feedback from the customers and ask for their feedback. The changes are then made according to
the customer’s preferences.
