At present, I have been posted as a non-commissioned officer in the Army since my entry
against the date 22nd September 2010. A 27-year-old, I had graduated from my school in the
year 2009. I had a specialization in the petroleum supply; however, I have been serving at the
post for a detailed army recruiter.
I am currently posted in the area of Los Angeles, California. In my career at the Army, I
had served at the various stations including, Wheeler Army Airfield situated in Hawaii and Fort
Steward located at Georgia. I have to undertake a considerable number of responsibilities to
maintain my position as an army recruiter. These are inclusive of determination of applicant
eligibility for the job, preparation of applications enlisted. I am also entrusted with the activity of
guiding applicants on the programs and options enlisted, conducting processes before enlistment
of qualified applicants in the Army. I was also in charge of preparing proper training of
employees and conduction and the enaction of the various awareness programs within the Army.
The present placement of mine has enriched me on acquiring the competency and the
skills required for the recruitment. This has led to my involvement with people from different
spheres of life. It has further helped me in the development of my perseverance during
challenging situations in the workplace. This has helped me understand the role of leadership and
the importance of operations conducted within the Army. I would state that I had been entrusted
with the duty of working with diverse and vast groups of people which required proper skills of
leadership.
Thus, I would like to state that the persuasion of leadership programs has been highly
influential in my decision of applying for the enrolment opportunity at the program for Army
Officers. This would help me fulfil my dream of serving the Army in the best possible manner by
acquiring leadership skills. I want to serve the nation at a higher post in the Army and work in
