This essay is based on bringing improvements in the already established eduction for art
classes through emphasising on specific lesson plans. In this regard, I made the lesson plans into
two parts A and B, where students would be encouraged to be more creative and independent.
These lessons plan focus on making mosaics and drama to make short play. Along with, Monet
inspired artwork was included to drive their imagination in enhanced manner.
As per Paiget's cognitive development stage theory, it is important to know that effective
educational teachings is possible only when students are not restricted and given the freedom to
build something on their own abilities by demonstrating their cognitive levels (Roy, Baker &
Hamilton, 2015). There must be promotion of active anticipation from teachers, guides and
parents for enhancing the students' curiosity level. Along with, the quality must always be in the
forwarding direction for every child to understand the significance of learning and practising
using both traditional and modern methodologies.
Furthermore, on personal level, I feel that there is a need of innovative approaches in the
teaching styles for fostering and nourishing these young minds in effective manner. Practical
application of concepts in relation to art and culture is looked down from the society, however
one must know that this is also essential for overall development and growth of individuals to
have a deep understanding about their strengths in order to contribute to the human race.
Moreover, it emphasis on the social and emotional growth of children which has been lost due to
over-dependency on digitalization (Kivunja, 2015).
