Reflection on the image taken in the Art Gallery
We went to an art gallery in Sydney on 15th November on Wednesday. The main purpose for this
excursion was to focus on the creative thinking course of ours. I went on to take w wide range of
pictures that I have attached with this. These pictures will show how I had reached the Hide Park
and reached our destination.
The art that I have liked the most is that of the Virgin or the Head of the Saint situated in the art
gallery of New South Wales. The name of the art is ‘Sculptor’. The art is made of marble and its
color is white. The artist was Bertram Mackennal in the year 1906. His birth place was at Fitzroy
in Melbourne in the year 1863. He became one of the most successful Australian artists in during
the 19th and 20th century. His best works were done in the stylized nudes and themes based on the
classical mythology. His works were made in a much creative manner. He learned this art from
his father. He even visited London and Paris during the time of his sculpture training. The
ingredients used in his works were pencil, pastel, watercolor and charcoal. His way of working
with the art was indeed creative and I was attracted by it. The artist was indeed very emotional
and his way of making the face and hair had been too much attractive. The Head of Saint culture
was my most favorite one. In will obviously discuss this with my friends.
Several strengths and weaknesses of creative weekly portfolio of mine
It has been very helpful for me to write the creative portfolio on weekly basis. I have already
written a creative journal on the excursions, group activities and engagement in the class work. I
have learned several things worth of knowledge in the inner activities. I have also drawn the
mind map and got to know about PMI chart. The storyline I created helped me to be a good
creative story maker. The personal vision board was made as well. Thus we could reveal our

hobbies, our aims in the future and ways to utilize the lesser time. The habitat poster was also
made by us that included the collage picture and its related description. Some creative things that
I did were the soundtrack on ‘The Great Train Robbery’ movie, making paper planes and doing
creative quizzes. The visits to the Powerhouse Museum and the Art Gallery had been worthy of
gaining much knowledge. I got to see some historical paintings and the objects through the inner
and outside activities. After going through these things, I had found my several strengths and
weaknesses within me. I made a thorough shortlist of the books that would lead me to be a
creative thinker and I know this power will lead me to be successful in all sectors of life. These
creative aspects can be used everywhere in my life.
