Art has had a strong impact on my life. Through the knowledge that I have attained through the
course of this course, I have come to realize the long-lasting impact of art. It has helped me in
understanding the world through different lenses and given me the ability to comprehend the past
while I studied the painting of the past. I also realized that art is not just the work of color on a
canvas but the positioning of the same truth by artists in different ways. It has also given me the
ability to appreciate the actual meaning of the word perspective and the ways art can be used to
communicate with the world on your own terms. I strongly believe that art is a necessary element of
the society as it allows individuals to escape the stress of the modern society and allow self-
expression to be free. According to me, art is also used by many individuals to communicate the evil
truth of the society and help others become better people. While it relieves individuals of the stress
caused by the modernity that we reside in, it has also given a stage for artists to present their talent
and reach out to the masses through a small canvas. Modern artists have not restricted themselves to
canvases and colors but have also ventured into the use of different mediums to present their talent
and capability to demonstrate fantasy. Thus, I would say that art has made me appreciate the world
more and given me the perspective to learn the true meaning behind every piece of art that I see
