Music 100: Detailed Review of the Art of Time Ensemble Concert

This report provides a detailed review of the Art of Time Ensemble classical music concert held at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre in Toronto from December 5-7, 2019. The performance encompassed symphony, chamber music, opera, vocal recital, and choral concerts, alongside dance performances. The program featured performances by renowned singers like Jackie Richardson, Chris Murphy, Jessica Mitchell, and Liam Russell, as well as the Children's Opera Chorus of Canada and instrumentalists such as Joe Phillips, Andrew Burashko, and Drew Jurecka. The report includes background information on key composers and performers, interviews with Jessica Mitchell and Liam Russell, and a subjective impression of the performance, highlighting the captivating singing, dance ensemble, and overall audience experience. The review concludes by emphasizing the educational value of attending such concerts in understanding the nuances of classical music performances. Classical music concert in Canada-
Name of the classical concert- Art Of time Ensemble
Date of performance-5-7 December 2019
Venue-Harbor front Centre Theater, Toronto
Type of performance- the performances included were of symphony, chamber , Music , opera,
vocal recital, and choral concert. Some of the terrific dance performances were also presented
that enthralled the audience.
Programs- various programs of dances and singing that enthralled the audience, some of the
programs that were included were-

Jessica Mitchell
Liam Russell
Tom Wilson

There were choir performances that were performed by Children Opera Chorus of Canada.
Besides there were programs of several instrumentalist that include

Andrew Burashko for Piano
Drew Jurecka for violin

Stephen Sitarski for violin

Besides the performances from these singers and composers, there were various performances
for dance that included the dance ensemble group where the best dancers from the various
countries were called ad they performed on social topics (Bradt, 2016).
Background of some of the composers-
Jackie Richardson-
She is a Canadian singer, composer, and actor that performed in various famous movies and got
prestigious awards for many. She was born in 1947 in USA who had a great interest in music and
had taken classes from various prominent personalities of the music industry to better her
singing. She has been associated with the Tiaras acts thus making her remarkably good in it (The
Business Communication , 2019).
Lam Russell-
Liam Russell is Canadian singer, composer and actor that performed in various acts and in the
movies thus gaining various praises for the performances. She is one of the popular singers and
composers in USA thus resulting the best pop culture. Her performance in the Concert had been
an inspiring one .
Thomas Francis Wilson –
Thomas Francis Wilson is a voice actor, Podcaster and comedian thus resulting in high level of
understanding among the people. he was born in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania and was raised by
other people. He had studied in one of the American Academy of dramatic arts thus making him
one of the best in the field of music composing (Cinimagestudio, 2014).

Tiger Manchurian-
he is a 81 year old Armenian composer who graced the presence in Komitas : A tribute Canada,
concert where he gave several orchestral , chamber , and choir performances . he is leading
Armenian artist who is into music and film composure. He is best in the classical area of
Armenian music who gained is knowledge of music form Romano Millikan Music school.
Interview of the performers-
Two of the singers were interviewed that included Jessica Mitchell
Liam Russell.
Jessica Mitchell was interviewed regarding how she found the facilities during the practice at the
concert. She told that everything was well organized and members at the concert took care of
their needs well as they were provided timely with the meal and energy drinks frequent intervals
thus resulting in high understanding among them . She further stated that there were some
problems in technology of various things such as testing instruments and other tools.
Liam Russell who is one of the singers experiences that the facilities of practice at the event are
great as they were taken care of in the bets manner. They are also provided with one of the
tactful instructors to teach them some alluring action to gain the applause from the Canadian
Audience. Every facility in the practice is great except sometime they have to face the
availability of the convenience facility.
Subjective impression of the performance-
The performances held at the concert were alluring as there were various singers group who
performed in a spectacular manner. The singing of Jackie Richardson, Chris Murphy ,Jessica
Mitchell , and Liam Russell took away the hearts of the audience with the rhythm and the lyrics
chosen by them for performance. The dancing ensemble also attracted the high attention from
the people as the sceneries and the attractive dresses used for performance made the audience
extremely mesmerized by it.
From the guests, there was young voice Toronto who performed extremely well o various
classical songs that gave the audience the chilling effect and magical energy from it. The Jessica

Mitchell ,once again won the hearts of its audience by singing the newly released Canadian with
the classical ones evoking high emotions of the audience at the concert. These experiences have
been of great help to understand how an actual classical concert are held.
