INTRODUCTION
Artificial intelligence refers to the framework of human intelligence processes by
machines and computer systems. The process involves acquiring of information and rules for
using information, reasoning and self corrections. This is considered as an ability of machine or
computer to learn and think in order to execute the work. It is helping human is various areas by
reducing their efforts. There is different industries such as banking and financial system, medical
science, air transport and gaming industry etc. are the areas where it has been using at broader
level. There is various type of artificial intelligence like reactive machines, limited memory,
theory of mind and self-awareness etc. are used by companies in order to perform their actions.
Is artificial intelligence a threat or an aid to the future of humanity is discussed in this
essay. The statement, supporter of artificial intelligence thinks that it can help in working faster
which is being discussed in this project. As similarly artificial intelligence is a threat to the future
of humanity because if people use it too much, there will be a time when robots will replace
human, viewpoints on this statement is being discussed. The computer and robots can do any
jobs is being discussed in this essay. Apart from this, some statistics shows that AI move people
from their jobs and there is a tendency to continue to develop, is also explained in this essay

Artificial intelligence is a technique which is used by the various organisation in different
industries. The concept is not so new to world as there was time when people used to work on
super computers and with the passing time people start working on the laptops and smartphones.
As it makes the work simple for people but this does not support to work faster. The concept is
related with innovation and it also includes high cost for organisation to adopt technology. As
they cannot think out of the box because they have pre-set algorithms and programmes which
confine their limit to an extent (Rayna, 2013). The flexibility in work is lacking from their side
due to their pre-set programmes and internal circuits. Human have various of ideas and thought
to do the work but a computer have system and work accordingly. Though it reduces error in
work but if stored data is lost than it could hamper complete work and slow down work process
in organisation. And this takes lot of cost and time to restore these data in order to restart the
working in company. Due to technological complexity it difficult to find suitable candidate in

order to control this technology and get work done. The unavailability of superior candidates
who understand artificial intelligence could be constraint for the company and their working
speed can also get slow down. Therefore there are certain drawback of using artificial
intelligence in business and day to day activities. This is because the implementation of different
software and tools requires time and have lengthy processes to understand. It can restrain
organisation for doing their work more promptly with help of artificial intelligence. It have been
also observed that some of the fast working technologies are not easy to understand and requires
huge cost. Thus companies do not enough skilled staff member to use those technologies and
they require to hire new staff resulting in increase of there total cost. This would be the main
reason of reduction of the performance and productivity of companies. The main reason that
disagree the concept of use of machines is that it cannot make judgement or decision in right or
wrong manner (Lohr, 2012).
The increasing trend of artificial intelligence is beneficial as well as harmful for human.
Though with the help of several technology human making their work simpler but this is a threat
to people and their jobs. As humans are too much depending on these gadgets but in long run
period this will affect their lives. The big car manufacturing industries and other manufacturing
businesses are using in house robots for carrying out the materials from one place to another in
factory, previously which was done by human. So this is affecting jobs of people and increasing
unemployment in economy. As Late Stephen Hawking also raised this concern while giving
interview to a news channel a few years ago. Professor said that development of full artificial
intelligence could spell the end of human race and it could be worst event in history of
civilization. Apart from this, CEO of SpaceX Elon Musk has also raised this issues and predicted
that artificial intelligence can cause for world war III too. There is several more famous
personality who has shown their concern regarding this and gave their view points. Due to its
efficiency and error free work, there will be a time when people will be replaced by robots. The
robots are used by various companies currently as robots will work better than human everything
so this will increase unemployment (Lajoie and Derry eds., 2013). This is very important for
human to make integration with technology in order to be relevant. The network of artificial
intelligence is vast and it is spread to different industries. It is beneficial for organisation which
are using but harmful for human who are working in the company. Due to the vast coverage this
can cut down many jobs in economy. As robots are more efficient and have more potential than

human so businesses are using these robots for getting their work completed efficiently. There is
several purpose of business which is completed by the use of robotics system so organisations
are using these robots in order to fulfil these objectives. So this can be said that this artificial
intelligence can overtake human work and replace by robots.
The world is loaded with full of technology. By using technology people are willing to
reduce their workload, time etc. Apart from humans, there are many other things which are
doing the job for human such as computers, smartphones and robots. As robots are carrying
material from one place to another, computers are making work simpler by storing data and
keeping records and with the help of smartphones people are doing different work from
anywhere. The main aspect is that computer and robots cannot do many jobs as because these
have some algorithm and pre-set programmes so they work accordingly. As these tools are
designed by the human only so it is not true that computers and robots can do many jobs. The
human is considered as multi-tasking as human can do their work and control both robots and
computers. If computer systems get hacked than computer system would not even be able to
perform the task according to pre-set programmes. So depending on the robots and computers
can be very harmful for business organisations (Jamal and Syahputra, 2016). These are the
gadgets which have some pre-set programmes so they cannot think and make decision but a
human can think and make decisions. Apart from this there is several task which cannot be
performed by gadgets such as creativity, the gadgets cannot bring creativity but a human can
bring creativity in the work as well as in these appliance also. The robots cannot replace the job
of sportsmen as millions of fans out there in world who love different kind of sports so nobody
want to see that a robots is playing any sport. On the other hand, in the medical field also
computers can record things but cannot make judgement. These decisions can only be taken by
doctors who are specialist in the field. As robots are not capable of taking decisions because they
do not have thinking capacity like human. The politics and laws cannot be done by robots and
computers as it needs sharp thinking capacity which human possess. The decision regarding laws
can never be taken by politics as it need some sense which possess by humans. As the computer
provides the data which is stored by human but people evaluate these data and according to that
make the decisions. This can be said that computer and robots cannot do several jobs.

Artificial intelligence technology covers vast area and used by the different organisations
such as banks and other corporates. As previously computers and mobiles were used to get
instruction after than they need to perform accordingly. But due to continuously development of
artificial intelligence the smartphones and computer started feeling sense and perform action
according to the sense. This can be agreed that due to frequent development in artificial
intelligence the people are moving away from their jobs. Organisations prefer to adopt new
technology in order to get their work done promptly. The development of technology will always
be keep going and new features will always be added in the systems. There was a time when use
of robots was up to an extent but now days companies are developing robots which can think
also like human. So this technology will bring transformation in the whole information
technology sector. As if robot will be start thinking and taking decision on behalf of human than
people move from their jobs and robots will take place people. There are various sectors in
which people move away from jobs due to continuous development in technology. This is a
threat for human as their jobs will be cut down as it is threat for economy also because this will
not grow. So this can be agreed that due to continuous development tendency the people will
move out from their jobs and artificial intelligence will replace human job in forthcoming years
(Eder, 2013).
The trend of using artificial intelligence is increasing day by day and people have become
habitual of it. As the experts trying to focus on their work in order to improve use of artificial
intelligence and reduce its harmful effects. There is harmful effect also using the technology on
people lives so experts are finding the ways in order to reduce its dangers effects. The
technology is making life simple for the people but also it is cause for harmful effect on human
lives. This has positive effect for organisations as their work gets done with proper efficiency
and on time but it is making impact on people lives and their jobs. So experts trying to develop
those technologies which is beneficial for human life as well as organisation also so more and
more people can get benefit out of this technology. But on the other hand it is very crucial to
reduce its harm effects from people lives so that they can live a happy life. There is some experts
and knowledgeable persons who raised their concern regarding harmful effect of technology on
social life. So it can be agreed that improvement is being continuously done in technology and
has some harmful effect which should be avoided (Chen and eds., 2013).

In the summary it can be said that artificial intelligence has both positive as well as
negative impact on people. The computer and robots cannot do many jobs such thinking and
decision making. Due to continuous development of artificial intelligence people are moving
away from their jobs. There are some experts who working on how to improve this and reduce its
impact from people's life.
CONCLUSION
In the conclusion it can be said that artificial intelligence is an integral part of people's
life. Artificial intelligence cannot help people to work faster it can be said that it is a threat to the
future of humanity because if people use it too much than there will be a time when robots will
replace humans. It can be said that computer and robots cannot do each and every work. As it
can be agreed that there will be continuous development of artificial intelligence and people
move away from their job and will be replaced by the robots. This can be said that it is a threat
for future of humanity due to its versatility.
