particular case study, America is also trying to implement Artificial Intelligence for the
benefit of the people in America. This particular essay will address the analysis of the case
according to the ethical theories of utilitarianism, deontology, contract and virtue followed by
the identification of the ethical issues, their implications and probable solutions.
Analysis and discussion of the chosen topic
In this particular case study, it is primarily seen that for the people of America, White
House has been essentially keen on implementing the Artificial Intelligence Technology by
learning about the immense potential of AI (The White House, 2019). Some of the major
point to focus that American people had decided on to implement AI Technology where for
the national R&D ecosystem dependent upon the air technology, the advantage that AI would
provide to the American workforce, the way that AI innovation has the potential of removing
all the areas from its implementation face and the immense impact on the application based
AI Technology sectors.
All these benefits have been extensively discussed in the meeting held by the
authorities of White House. the government also decided upon removing all the barriers that
would appear in a proper artificial intelligence implementation within the country and the

Intelligence implementation within the country (Russell & Norvig, 2016). science behind this

make the country attain supremacy in comparison to do all the countries in the world, then

Just like deontological ethics theory embraces the morality of a certain issue highly
over any other implication, the American government as per the rule of Trump
Administration can also make new rules for implementing artificial intelligence in the
American laws (Etzioni & Etzioni, 2017). It is indeed understandable that this particular
Technology was not included in the legislation before, but thinking about the benefits that the
workforces and the people in America would gain from this particular Technology, the
American government even has the right to amend the existing legislation and create a new
one in support of the American people. here the morality of helping the people in America
and the country at a broader sense serves much better purpose done the ethical right of
changing the legislation.

for benefiting the nation as a whole. This contemplated the contractual ethical theory
(Crawford, 2016).
Virtue
Virtue ethics mostly talks about the development of a good habit that it is
implemented with the help of a new Technology implementation. with implementation of
artificial intelligence in all the aspects of the country, that would be an establishment of good
culture within the American people and habits of the people in an overall basis would see e
and exceeding improvement (Arruda, 2016). It would be easier for the government to achieve
all the goals it had planned beating the challenges. Therefore, this particular theory also
justifies the implementation of AI in America for the American people.

rules and guidelines that are enforced for or governing the behaviour of the people living in a

Floridi, 2018). In addition to that, the people also needs to be trained to utilise the benefits of
artificial intelligence vendor used for the betterment of the country rather than using it for
their personal needs. This should provide proper solution to the identified ethical problem.

As the technology has seen numerous amounts of advancements, even providing the
artificial intelligence services for the betterment of the country, in the same way there has
been various examples of countries at threat because of the advanced Technologies
(Boddington, 2017). Artificial intelligence is another use of Information and Communication
Technology or ICT, that falls under various moral issues regarding artificial intelligence such
as security and data protection along with intellectual property rights and cyber bullying.
