Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of today's most hotly debated topics and a critical future
technology to master. Every country on the planet is now fighting for control of it, intending to
use it to gain worldwide dominion. Artificial intelligence (AI) will have an impact on everyday
life and the workplace in the future. As a result of artificial intelligence (AI) advancement, many
jobs have been automated, and many individuals have already lost their jobs. Every day, the rate
of industrial automation increases and the number of jobs taken by automation rises as well.
Because AI has various advantages over human capabilities, certain jobs are frequently assumed
by AI. This research examined what jobs are affected by artificial intelligence development, as
well as how and why they are affected by AI. Also, as AI progresses, discuss how to keep human
employment.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a diverse branch of computer science devoted to the creation of
intelligent machines or smart robots that can operate and behave in the same way that humans
do. It can sometimes compete with humans and can outperform what humans are capable of
(Fetzer, 2019). Its key goals are to advance science and technology to create objects that can
assist humans with crucial tasks that are too dangerous or difficult for humans to handle.
Communication, sensing, thinking, learning, and manipulating real-world objects are examples
of human-like capabilities.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) employs a wide range of skills and approaches to addressing specific
issues, such as probability, analytics, mathematics, and theories. Usually, an AI framework
operates by consuming large amounts of data, interpreting it, and then using it to make decisions
or perform tasks (Fetzer, 2019). Three critical pieces are required to achieve this objective. They
are:

Man and machine both produce a large amount of data in today's environment. Processing and
manipulating large amounts of data is sometimes beyond human capabilities. Artificial
Intelligence (AI) enters the picture to help with this challenge and to lessen human reliance. AI
exhibits its value by providing previously unexplored information and a method for completing
tasks. It can perform jobs that people cannot in some instances (Nilsson and Nilsson, 2018). AI
has contributed to the growth of productivity by providing access to a varied range of options
that were previously unavailable.
Advantages and Disadvantages:
Artificial intelligence technology is constantly advancing because it can accomplish tasks at a
tempo and precision that humans cannot conceive (Copeland, 2015). The benefits and drawbacks
of AI technologies are outlined below.

Types of artificial intelligence:
Four types of artificial intelligence are described by an expert.

used by this form of AI. It works best when all of the variables are known, and it speeds up the
calculating process. It is incapable of performing critical tasks (Brewka, 2016).

Limited memory: Complex problems are easily managed by this form of AI. It can make
decisions based on its previous experiences since it has memory (Brewka, 2016). Self-driving
vehicles are an excellent example of this.
Theory of mind: Develop upon social intelligence it can recognize emotions much like a
human. Because it recognizes purpose and meaning, it can learn quickly with less data (Brewka,
2016).
Self-awareness: This type of AI is focused on sensation to sense and identify its present
situation. This form of AI does not yet exist in the real world (Brewka, 2016).

Artificial intelligence (AI) is proving its worth in the corporate sector these days in a multitude
of fields. Most of the time, it's difficult to see the benefits with open eyes. Artificial intelligence
(AI) has demonstrated its ability to improve efficiency levels while minimizing human
inaccuracy and effort. According to statistics, the use of AI in large enterprises has increased
every year (Kapoor et al., 2019). Now, AI is a critical component of a wide range of business
applications that could be implemented in the real world. According to other statistics, Artificial
Intelligence (AI) is becoming more popular and attracting a large amount of investment.
Meanwhile, as the demand for AI grows, it continues to attract new talent. Artificial intelligence
(AI)-based technologies and applications are now more easily accessible than they were
previously. However, it is still expensive to build and operate effectively (Kapoor et al., 2019).
Today, a broad range of AI applications are used in both the enterprise and consumer markets. A
great example is intelligent customer service for online retailers. It can assist customers with
locating products in stores, tracking the status of orders, and answering other basic questions
without the use of a live customer service representative (Haenlein and Kaplan, 2019). To detect
dangers and potential suspects, AI is also employed in security and surveillance systems. These
powerful AI-based systems are capable of detecting and preventing various types of threats. AI is
also used in antivirus software to detect potential dangers to a computer system and to take the
required precautions to protect it.

Apple's voice assistant, for example, employs AI to understand user commands and respond
appropriately, much like a real assistant. Mail client employs AI to prevent users from spam and
hazardous emails. AI is also used by the Translate service to give a more accurate and natural
translation to its users.

Kaplan, 2019). Even though it is expensive and difficult to operate, it has far too much potential
to be overlooked in everyday life.
How jobs and the workplace are affected by AI?
Artificial intelligence (AI) will indeed have a significant impact on the labor market in the next
50-100 years. However, it has already begun to have an impact on the recent labor market. AI
opens up new business prospects for many companies, and it can impact every aspect of the job
market now and in the future (Došenović, 2018). In most circumstances, sophisticated robotic
systems will most probably overtake present human workers. As a result, people are required to
do fewer jobs as their location has taken over. Because innovation and technology do not stand
still, today's job and skill statistics may change over time.

in favor of new AI. It is already creating a terrible impact on the labor market. It also has a few
positives and has a beneficial impact on the labor market because it creates new demand for new
workers. Few sectors and employment are created as a result of automation to meet that demand.
Driving automation will most certainly replace jobs like those of a car driver. Many companies
have stepped forward to develop self-driving cars and the necessary AI technologies to support
them (Tolan et al., 2021). Healthcare employees like doctors, for example, are at risk of being
replaced by AI-enabled robots that are better equipped to provide additional important medical
treatment. Many types of occupations that are currently available may be lost as a result of
artificial intelligence (AI). Also, new employment opportunities may materialize that just aren't
yet available. The fact that AI is most commonly utilized in these sectors for simple tasks may
understand the type of employment it is displacing. When more sophisticated duties are
incorporated into simple tasks that were supposed to be completed by AI. Following that, the AI
will focus on its expected lifespan, just as it does in the vocations listed previously. When AI
becomes matured, it can take over jobs that were previously thought to be impossible for AI to
complete (Tolan et al., 2021).
In a construction job, simple artificial intelligence (AI) performs a simple task like bricklaying.
Crane operators and excavator operators are examples of more difficult tasks in construction.
Because artificial intelligence (AI) is gradually taking over more boring duties in the
construction industry, there is a growing demand for more powerful AI for performing difficult
tasks. Simple AI is no longer required because it already exists and is in use (Koo et al., 2021).
To address the rising demand, new revenue-generating AI will be created. Artificial Intelligence
can execute most of these functions, and in most circumstances, It is capable of far better than a
human individual. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in various workplaces is projected to rise
dramatically in the immediate decades.

The role of humans in the economy is under threat as automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and
other associated systems get more and more widely deployed. It is rapidly deteriorating, resulting
in a significant reduction in employment (Ernst et al., 2019). However, in reality, there are
different scenarios in which Artificial Intelligence (AI) does more than merely replace jobs it
also creates new opportunities. When it comes to preparing for the future, authorities, companies,
and individuals all need to be aware of these trends. As a result, governments and nations
seeking to comprehend the ramifications of automation must delve deeper and examine
differentiated impacts. Realizing the future of work is practically impossible (Ernst et al., 2019).
However, breakthrough research is required to let everyone understand what essential role they
must play in the future.
The importance of developing an adaptable workforce:
Every nation in the world should concentrate on creating an adaptive workforce that can meet
future demands. Governments and companies must be aware of the demographic issues they may
encounter. What will happen if they go with automation, and how can they help their employees
keep their jobs? They must help their personnel grow their skills so that they can keep up with
shifting demand (Korinek and Stiglitz, 2019).
Here are a few suggestions which might help saved future employment as Artificial Intelligence
(AI) advances:
Suggestions for Governments: Governments must have a labor strategy in place to satisfy
demand and evaluate existing employment changes. Propose adjustments to available positions,
sectors, and credentials, as well as the steps that will be required to fill the shortages. Design
more innovative alternatives that are more responsive to the changing conditions of the
employment marketplace over time. Governments must also reorient educational programs to
prosper cooperatively (Wogu et al., 2017). It must concentrate on establishing platforms that
allow workers to conveniently search for employment and training. As a result, the labor market
may be able to execute smoothly.
Suggestions for Companies: The number, makeup, and expansion of a company's personnel
should be monitored continuously. It must concentrate on its strategy, which will describe future

demand, and strategic metrics must be tightly linked to the company's entire preparation. With
sudden adjustments in expertise needs as well as the emergence of a slew of wholly new skills
and duties, The labor market is unable to meet the demand for certain positions and is unable to
provide the necessary talent. Companies must devise fresh, innovative tactics to retain people
and provide them with the skills they require to thrive in today's fast-paced industry (Wogu et al.,
2017).
Suggestions for Individuals: Individuals must develop themselves as professionals to
demonstrate their potential and prepare for future requirements. Development and acquisition of
new skills must become an intrinsic part of a person's professional career if they are to withstand
market changes. Individuals must pay close attention to the company's or government's
information and skill development programs and enhance their talents correspondingly (Wogu et
al., 2017). Individuals are continuously on the lookout for jobs that match their skill sets. They
must be adaptable during their entire careers to achieve this.

delivering a variety of services that humans are unable to perform on their own. It improves our
way of life and opens up nearly endless possibilities. To mitigate the risk posed by AI, we must
ensure that the advances are distributed fairly among the global workforce. Additionally, a
concerted effort must be made to assist those employees who are harmed. Create new chances by
relocating them to new employment, providing adequate training, and providing financial aid in
the search for a new position. To guarantee that we are better equipped to deal with future
developments, a wide variety of considerations must be accounted for. There will never be
complete automation of everything because it would be pointless for humans to exist.
