AI Summary
This assignment is a project report on an artificial intelligence simulation, focusing on a Zombieland scenario. The project explores agent-based systems, specifically rational and reflex agents, to model the interactions between humans and zombies. The report details the simulation setup, including the assignment of colors to different agents (zombies, humans, aggressive humans, etc.), the factors running the simulation (ticks, scared checks, speed), and the simulation snapshots/results. The simulation was run using Netlogo version 5.1, and the report includes an analysis of the initial states, the evolution of the simulation, and the final states, drawing conclusions about the balance between humans and zombies and the impact of aggression rates. The report also includes references to relevant research and resources on AI and zombie preparedness.

Abstract
Artificial intelligence based simulation models play a vital role in solving the read-world entity
problems in an optimized way. (Allen, 2018)
Introduction
The influence of Artificial intelligence computing can be found anywhere. When we state the
term ‘AI’, agent based systems comes in mind, for exploring the permutations required for
running impractical run-times. In such cases, the creation of meta-data will boost the speed of
models, even for the large-scale agents. (McCrank, n.d.)
Analysis - Zombie apocalypse
Consider,
i. Rational Agents
ii. Reflex Agents
Zombieland - a zombie attack with get and break-away functions for agents. Once a human agent
lands on a weapon cache, he becomes armed becomes another agent -Billybob that can shoot and
kill zombies. (S.Khan, 2011)
Total active agents:
I. Humans
II. Zombies
III. Billybob
Other active entities:
I. Gun
II. Bullet
III. Dead

Factors running simulation:
I. Reset ticks
II. Scared checks
III. Speed
IV. Agents.
Colors assigned:
I. Zombies – red
II. Humans – blue
III. Guns – orange
Simulation snapshots / Results:
i. Netlogo version 5.1 running simulation mode. It includes adjusting,
a. Ticks / setup / clear
b. Percentage of bravery /
weapon-cache
c. Distribution of initial
zombies on a scale
d. Scale of zombies / human
speed
e. Scale of humans speed
f. No. of aggressive humans

ii. Initially, at the start of game, since there is no action taken therefore, initially values
allotted are: 80 humans, 0 zombies and aggressive human.

iii. In this state, the total count is as following: 25 humans, 9 zombies and 26 aggressive
humans
Conclusion
However, a time comes when the zombies are totally eliminated from the field, and this there is a
winning state for aggressive humans as their mission is fulfilled. But in the opposite case, if the
aggression rate does not increase with time, it means danger for the humans to be attacked by
zombies. Therefore, the ratio of humans and zombies must never be same.
