AI Summary
This report examines the effectiveness of artificial intelligence (AI) projects in modern business, focusing on the insights provided in an article by Andrew Ng. It explores how businesses are increasingly leveraging AI to drive growth, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency across various sectors, from manufacturing to customer service. The report addresses key questions, such as why businesses are adopting AI, its relevance to business needs, its ability to create value through cost reduction and new business lines, and the factors contributing to successful AI implementation. The analysis highlights the importance of strategic planning, cross-functional teams, and proper resource allocation for maximizing the benefits of AI projects. The report concludes that the strategic use of AI is crucial for companies seeking to differentiate themselves and achieve their organizational goals.

1USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Introduction:
The aim of this paper is to discuss the effectiveness of Artificial intelligence projects
which have become one of the most important aspects of the business growth in any type of
industry stock starting from manufacturing to selling the products and serving the customers
over phone online are some of the very important actions that the companies are doing with
the help of artificial intelligence. This particular paper will be discussing the article by
Andrew NG who was associated with Google and Baidu to develop their different types of
projects and making scope for business to adapt these changes. According to the author the
non-internet sectors need artificial intelligence more than and any other industries. For
example artificial intelligence is used in the agriculture, retail, logistics, education and energy
sectors where there is no direct use of internet for the production or customer care. By using
artificial intelligence the organisations are trying to differentiate themselves and reduce cost
of the human employment. this paper will be discussing for questions pointed out of the
article and answer them with the support of the views of different authors.
Question 1.
Why the business are leaning towards using the artificial intelligence?
The business of the competitive modern world are leaning towards using artificial

projects are not so very well thought out for meeting subtle or critical aspects of the business

create value for the business with 3 particular aspects overcome any type of sudden changes
in the organisation and finally the projects are completed among the credible partners with
their limited resources and means. The study by Takeuchi, Akihara and Yamamoto (2018),
has referred to the same subject on the specific automobile industry. Here the author has
detailed the needs of the artificial intelligence in the manufacturing of the automobile parts
where the team work is very important. However the teams can also do the task what the first
projects are always important to win so that the rest of the departments can follow it and try
to you utilise this type of artificial intelligence mechanism to do their task more easily.
Question 2.
How much relevancy the artificial intelligence have for business?
The article named “How to choose your first Artificial Intelligence project?” by
Andrew Ng Has pointed out that at the relevancy of the artificial intelligence is important for
the business use. In case the artificial intelligence does not match with the relevancy of the
demand they are of no use for the business. This is the reason why the companies must
understand exactly what the department is asking for and then find out the specificity of that
project in this article the author has understood why and how the projects often fail. To
Müller and Bostrom (2016), the companies do not understand how a specific project can
make the stakeholders understand their value properly this is the reason why they use
artificial intelligence with huge investment but cannot get the result properly. in this regard
the author has given an example that when a medical devices company uses artificial
intelligence in the recruitment projects they may fail. To Eliot (2017), there is a high chance
that at the artificial intelligence in this regard will definitely fail. Firstly there are more expert

their recruitment and secondly this project cannot effectively convince the rest of the
departments to use or invest in such project. This is the reason why the author has
recommended the medical devices company to develop such a project based on artificial
intelligence which will be valuable for the Healthcare specific system. this can be devices to
assess the doctors for or developed treatment plants for that matter streamlining Hospital

Question 3.
Does the artificial intelligence create values?
The values of the business can be enhanced through the artificial intelligence in three
processes. The article by Andrew Ng Has pointed out that a successful artificial intelligence
project can create values and positive effect on the companies for profit making. First of all it
is used for the cost reduction by replacing the human workforce. According to Liao and Ai
(2018), whenever the human employees are employed they are given a perfect salary and
different types of benefits for or their security and safety in the workplace. In addition to this
the human what force demand more than the nation. On the other hand is a company invests
in mechanism the process the investment cost is huge but all is done at once. Thus the cost of
the companies get reduced. secondly the artificial Intelligence can create scope for different
business lines. According to Furman and Seamans (2019), for example if a manufacturing
company wants to sell their products on their own they take help from the retail business but
if they automate their selling system they can start up a new Business Line. Similarly when
the company follows artificial intelligence as the only way to enhance revenue they can
successfully use the projects which takes less time and gives more production than expected.

4USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
What are the factors related to the successful implementation of the artificial intelligence?
In setting of the artificial intelligence projects, there are some very important. This
particular Technology supervisors learning and place the human beings in completing critical
tasks. Artificial intelligence is good in automating tasks rather than jobs according to this
particular article the human resources can be e replaced to who the tasks for pieces of job but
not the entire job done by the human employees. To Zhang et al. (2017) this is due to the fact
that the human employee is responsible for designing, planning and executing the jobs
properly which one particular artificial intelligence cannot do that. The AI is effective in
manufacturing identifying issues and serving the can be done automatically which cannot be
effectively done by the human employees. Therefore there are some methods for applying the
artificial intelligence in the business. first of all the company needs to employee a leader who
will be able to you work cross functionally that will bridge the knowledge gap between the
departmental expertise and the need of the artificial intelligence .
Secondly the company needs to have a proper team that will have more than 10 to 15
people each have to contribute effectively for building the usage of artificial intelligence.
According to Andrew Ng, the resources are needed for meeting at the need of the project. in
this small team the higher than expected that will ensure that everyone in the team know
other. In addition to this the team members need to you have the ability to work cross-
functional that means and like their leaders they will also know the operation of the
department as well as the need of the artificial intelligence to cope up the challenges of that
particular department. Therefore, to Ghahramani (2015), proper allocation of resources will
be more specific and the goal will be attend effectively.

that the project will be feasible. Technical diligence can take small number of time that the
technical team can examine the data and carry on small scale experiments to enhance the
value of the projects.
Finally the communication of capabilities and successful result of artificial
intelligence in meeting the departmental needs. The internal platform must allow the awards,
external PR and appreciate the team members so that they fee motivated for their support.
The CEO needs to recognise the team members so that the other departments can feel
interested about the contribution of the team.
Conclusion:
Therefore, it can be stated that the usage and impact of the artificial intelligence is far
reaching and effective in the current business framework. By using the artificial intelligence
the companies are trying to reduce their cost and enhance their efficiency. By creating
framework for the adaptation of the newly introduced AI, the companies will be able to prove
their uniqueness through effective services and products. Therefore, this article by Andrew
Ng has righty understood the demands of the companies and confusing situation of the
