This report is based upon Newham Council which has recently created its new artist Enterprise
Hub for the purpose of bolstering borough’s creative sector and unlocking the potential. For this
purpose, different elements are covered in this report. These are importance of the effective
management skills and diversity in terms of people, cultures, business and management. Apart
from this, discussion of management theories on the basis of motivation, problem solving and

management skills. With the help of all of them, the hub will be able to manage all its activities
that will be performed in future. Description of all the required skills is as follows:
Management skills required for effective management of hub:
Problem solving: It is the one of the main skills that are required for the management of
the new hub. All the managers are required to have this quality so that they can deal with any
type of negative situation which may take place in future and affect the goals of the hub. Lack of
this skill may result in failure of all the plan that are made previously to attain success for it

Effective decision making: In order to run a business smoothly it is very important for
