Hello Courtney, I have read your thread and what I can say is, it is so informative and the
creativity you have used to create the collage is of top-notch. From your thread, I have learned
that we should put our faith and trust in God in all that we do. I would also like to add what we
can learn from this story. First, from this story, we can see that God wanted to prove to the
Egyptians as well as to the Israelites that He is Lord (Drews, 2014). This story also shows us that
God wanted to show Israelites there is no turning back and He took them on the long way
because He had greater plans for them. God, wanted to demonstrate to His children that He was
to sustain and provide for them even in the wilderness. The story of Moses parting the red sea
can be seen as an extraordinary story. Besides, not only you who find this story to be of high
interest but also everyone who reads it.
The reason why I like your collage is, it has an agreeable character design. Also, it is not too
excessive in a manner that it can confuse someone and it fits the character of the storyline given.
Besides, the colors you have used to represent the sun and the water can clearly show the
emphasis of how the Red Sea was parted (Getlein, 2020). However, one cannot identify the
Israelites in your collage. I can suggest that the material you could have used to represent the
Israelites should contrast with the dry land.

Hi Andrew, I appreciate your collage art and how you have connected it with the Biblical story
of the tower of BABEL. Besides, the way you have expounded why your collage is scattered and
the reason that made you create it that way makes the whole thing to be amazing. For instance,
the crumbling earth that represents the impermanence and inevitable erosion of man’s
achievements as well the shattering globe that represents the tower of Babylon after people
disobeyed God because of their pride. I like the way you are confident and satisfied with your
collage (Getlein, 2020). Besides, how you have acknowledged your weakness and identified
were to improve given a second chance makes it a great idea (Tadlock, 2011)
From your thread I can only see that you have given the reason why the tower of Babylon is
shattered that is the consequence of pride and disobedience of people by not following GOD’s
commandment of filling the earth, however, you have not outlined what lesson we can learn
from this Biblical story. Some of the lessons I can suggest from this story include:
If we know what God wants, then we should do it because nobody or nothing can stop
God and so it is always better to do the will of God.
We should focus on making God famous and give Him credit and in return, He will give
us the fame He wants us to have.
Last but not least, people should not try to leave independent and away from God because
we need Him in all our undertakings.
