1Running head: ARTS POLICY
In the article “An Arts Policy for a Floating Utopia”, the author discusses to the
readers about the arts policy for the floating market for which he himself had worked. The
author of the article summarises to the readers about how he was invited by an artist to an arts
policy for a new state in the country. The author, after viewing the policy of the arts for the
new state, had made certain changes and helped to create a new set of rules and regulations
for the arts policy itself. This is what the author tells the readers in the article itself.
The purpose of this article is to make an analysis of the statement written by the
author regarding the creation of the arts policy for the new state to implement.
In this article based on the arts policy of the state itself, it can be said that that the
author has emphasized on the importance of the arts policy for a new state. The author in this
article had written by about the various importance which the arts policy can make for the
arts industry in a particular state itself1. This is because of the fact that I feel art is something
which should be explored by the people of every state themselves (Tusa, 2014). Art helps the
individual to explain themselves formally. In this case an arts policy for a new state would be
a welcome attitude for the people of that state themselves.
I feel that arts can help the individuals to discover new creative ways of making
things. This would allow the individuals to learn to make new livelihood themselves2. The
arts policy would help the people of the state to involve themselves in producing various
kinds of art activities themselves. This in addition, would help the individuals to learn new
forms of art themselves (Tusa, 2014). This is the reason why I feel that the author of the
article has accurately focused on the importance of the topic itself. The topic is related to my
own community in the sense that even my own community practices various kinds of art

forms which would help the community members to lean new forms of art themselves3. I
also felt from reading the article that the author has emphasized the readers on the subject
matter of how and why the arts policy should be implemented in each and every state. In
addition to this, it can be said by the readers that the author also mentions the various forms
of arts policies that the states should implement for themselves. This would help the readers
to deal with the various policies related to art policies in the various states.

I am linking this website because it would provide additional information to the
readers about the importance of the arts policies for the readers and how such policies are
going to be helpful for the readers themselves. It is because of this that I consider the arts
policy to be important for the readers themselves.
