It is very important for organisation to conduct effective and efficient training to its
employees in order to increase their capability and performance (Numonjonov, 2020). Through
effective training organisation will be able to successfully carry out business practices. This
report is based on ASDA. This is British supermarket chain that is providing different kinds of
products and services to customers in order to meet with their requirements. This company is
dealing in retail sector and it was developed in year 1949. ASDA is consider as leading British
supermarket chain and head office of this organisation is located in England. Founder of this
organisation is Peter and Fred Asquith. Products of ASDA includes grocery, general
merchandise, financial services and so on. It is offering its products and services to worldwide
market area.
Aim: To explore the effectiveness of training of employees over customer satisfaction during a
pandemic crisis of Covid-19. A study on ASDA

LITERATURE REVIEW
To identify the benefits of training of employees over customer satisfaction within the
retail sector.
As per the views of Christoper Pappas (2021), it has been analysed that training of
employees is very important and it will help employees to carry out required set of task in
significant manner. it is essential that ASDA company is providing proper training to its
employees as it will help in enhancing customer satisfaction with in retail sector (The Top 5

provide proper satisfaction to its employees in order to meet with the desired objective of
business (Zatsiorsky, Kraemer and Fry, 2020). Benefits of training of employees over

Enhance information regarding policies and procedure – Training of employees is
significant in order to enhance information regarding the policies and procedure
of business. Through training and development practices respective company is
able to provide information to employee about updated polices and procedure of
organisation in order to successfully carry out organisational task.

practices is significant for company in order to improve employee retention. By
performing effective training practices ASDA company will be able to retain

In this research, investigator is considering primary methods in order to find accurate and
appropriate information. It is significant that researcher is considering primary data as it will
provide more to the point information and help in better decision making. researcher is
considering online survey as this will be most effective to gather information and there will
be 30 respondents who are employees of ASDA company.
Potential outcomes
Through this research practices and collected data it has been analysed that retail
company needs to successfully conduct training of employees as it will help in enhancing
customers satisfaction and effectively conducting business practices during COVID 19
pandemic. It has been determined that there are various benefits that could be attain by company
through training practices and it will assist in enhancing business performance.
A conceptual map that outlines the concepts explored in the Literature Review
This includes creation of thesis or objectives in order to collect data and information. After this
data is gathering from different sources such as primary and secondary. Data will be analysed in
order to attain set outcomes and accomplished desired goals. After analysing data, different
recommendation and decision on data will be conducted.
