Background of research
In the world of globalisation and changing need in the society and operate in
organisational aspects. In the era of competitive advantages, employee's turnover has a large
impact on the organisation and further affect the performance of employees. This concept affect
the cost to make employee's turnover in work, job satisfaction and make remuneration. The cost
of employee's turnover is related to advertisement expenses, headhunting, management expenses
and other expenses for the new employees (Kumar, Sharma, and Kumar, 2019). This research
report include the basic description of subject, aim and objectives, research rationale and
secondary research. Furthermore, a choice of appropriate research methodologies and an
appropriate time plan is used to complete proposal on time.
Background of organisation
ASDA is a British multinational supermarket which are appropriately working in the UK
market. Its headquartered is in Leeds, England and the company was founded in 1949. The
company serve their services in the market of grocery, general merchandise and financial
services. The company have large number of employees that provide a significant growth in their
organisational profit. Furthermore, in 2018 ASDA try to abandoned with Sainsbury and make
new services for their customers in effective and appropriate ways to completing market research
(Lordkipanidze, 2019).

Research Rationale
The rationale for using this research is to examine the reason for employee's turnover and
collect data on the basis of management practices. With the help of this research, investigator
collect the personal and professional information that would be helpful for conducting research
in an effective and appropriate manner (Wilcox,, 2017). In context to personal, researcher
developed different skills like communication, public speaking and research data collection.
Whereas, in the professional context, they are able to generate wide range of information in the
context to employee's retention or turnover and its impact on the business profit
(Donohue,2018).
Research significance
This research will help the researcher to continue their research on time and elaborate the
area of own perspective and provide more relatable solutions. These solutions can be related to
reduce high employee turnover and make sure to work to achieve objectives of the research. This
research will be helpful for the organisations to take benefits from this research and increase
their productivity by declining the employee's turnover rate (Feshbach, 2020).
Literature review
As per the view of Munns (2021), employees turnover is the number of employees that
leave the business in a specified set of times. Furthermore, it is related to high staff turnover
means the company is facing major issues that further provide a large amount of time that may
leave the organisation. It is very important for understanding the platform and achieve higher
need to complete work and achieve good things in different ways.
Furthermore, it is analysed that there are different cost which are applicable that a
company faced that immediately vanish into the air and resign different methods while working
effectively into the market. The very first point is to deterioration of profit and it will leads to the
higher employee's performance (Bowles, 2020). It can be said that the company once
compromised the relationship then it will lead to make high risk at organisational performance.

Another cost that company faced when they have high employees turnover are, company's
image, team role and its nature and productivity.
In last the positive impact of the employees turnover that ASDA company gain is they
get more chances to upgrade and improve their talent, prevent complacency and they further can
review the manpower cost and different incentives allocations within the market .
Methodology
Research paradigms
As per the view of research aim and objectives it will be analysed that researcher opted
positivism approach. The reason behind using this approach is basically helpful for efficient and
effective manner to complete the time and achieve more effective growth in achieving
objectives.
Research Approach
There are mainly two approaches which includes deductive and inductive approach.
Here, the researcher opted deductive approach which is helpful for considering positivism
philosophy. Furthermore, this approach help the researcher to conduct quantitative research
method in more effective ways.
Research Strategy
There are various kind of strategy which includes experiment, survey, action research,
case study and so on. Survey is the most suitable research method as it will be helpful to achieve
objectives for the study. Therefore, a self administered to make question to be used to carry out
the research participants. Here, questionnaire is used to collect the primary data and achieve
objectives in more efficient way(Leslie, 2017).
Sampling framework
Survey population is used for this study that will be the ASDA employees as they have
the appropriate knowledge about company's policy. A probability simple random sample type
will be used to carry out the questionnaire. 50 respondents are chosen for completing different
platform and manage basic growth in analysing the situation in more effective and appropriate
manner.

Data collection
Data will be worked by using SPSS interpretation 24 that is more effective and suitable
to get the investigation by using various visual communication, graphical record and
mathematical device. Whereas, primary and secondary data sources are used to collect the data
in an effective and appropriate manner. For the primary questionnaire have been conducted
whereas for the secondary use of data, online journals, articles and newspaper will be used.
Validity and reliability
The present research work that includes the two sources related to primary and secondary
sources. In primary method the respondents are directly collected and that will lead to reliable
and valid data. On the other data journal articles are related to different books and online sources
that provide a valid information in the present study(Temesgen, 2020).
Research time plan
The main aim of dividing the entire time period with respect to different action that are
required to be managed in the present research report. For this purpose there will be use of Gantt
Chart.

From the above research report, it has been analysed that the researcher work with
significant approach and used different methodologies to complete research on time. It will be
helpful for the company and researcher as well to work efficiently and provide a valuable
outcome to work and achieve higher rate of profitability. This can be done by providing suitable
data and manage employees retention period in significant growth and applicability.
