INTRODUCTION
Employees play an important role in the organisation and leads management to perform

capabilities. The main role to engage large number of workforce in the organisation is to perform
organisational operations at global level. It is also a major concern that there are various
challenge are also faced by business to manage workforce at global level. The selected
organisation for this report is ASDA (Araten-Bergman, 2016). It is operating there business in
retail industry and manage large number of stores, supermarket and retail provisions at global
level by employing large number of individuals. Moreover, this report highlights on aims and
objectives which are related with workforce and diversity. WBS and Gantt chart will also be
included in this report to perform all task and operations in simplified manner. In the last, project
management plan will be included in this report to perform all operations accurately.
P1 Aims and objective of the organisation
There are various operations and functions managed by the organisation to perform their
according to international level. This also governs that management must formulates the aim and
objective for performing their work to gain desired outcomes within decided time period. The
main motive of ASDA is to implement right strategy that leads organisation to manage and build
effective workforce in organisation. Along with this it also helps management in increasing their
competitiveness by performing all operations in an organised manner.
Project- According to Andreas Munk-Madsen, 2015, the term project can be defined as the piece
of work that is used for formulating a specific set of activities to accomplish company objective.
In simple terms project works as an unique process that is consist of set of controlled and
