INTRODUCTION
In today's scenario number of sources are emerges which presents the information of
entire corporate world and current positioning of an enterprise (Scarinci and Pearce, 2012). Thus,
ASDA is one of the famous supermarket at European marketplace whose main motive is to offer
grocery items to domestic as well as foreign clients. Therefore, assignment is going to throw
lights on contradictions between information presented by two main sources such as; newspapers
and internet. Furthermore, an effective comparison of both the facts or figures identified in
sources are going to outline in this project.
TASK - Summary of the report with the help of two major sources
Business information from newspaper
ASDA is a very developing company which is subsidiary of American Corporate giant
Walmart after acquiring almost 6.7 million turnover in approximately July, 1999. Basically,
selected firm is growing day by day because of increment in consumer demands as well as get
succeeded in gaining trust or loyalty of maximum clients. Thus, number of major sources are
taking interview from head of the organization and follow the company news in order to
represent necessary information about association in front of the society. For example;
newspapers, internet, articles, journals and so on (Alshare, Lane and Miller, 2011). However,
their main objective is to highlight essential news about specific company in front of the society
either its positive or negative.

ASDA and Sainsbury's both caught accidentally:- According to Daily Mail
newspaper it has been observed that ASDA and its competitors both the company are caught
together accidentally in one incident. Thus, one of the shopper whose name is Kelly Simpson
spot this mistake on a package of pike-lets in the bakery area nearby her local store in
Lancashire. Basically, this newspaper is expressing the blunder which is done by managers of
selected firm and did not noticed by any of the staff members, employees or supervisors
(Ömerali, 2012). In fact, main reason behind selling pancakes designed by Sainsbury's is to
acquire maximum revenue because they are offering pancakes in cheaper rate as compare to its
rivalries. Beside this, during interviewing process spokesmen of ASDA is defending this error of
an organization by expressing like they are not unaware about this fraud. For example; he said
that “oops. Its mix up with the product of Sainsbury's and good to see that we are still
providing a best or reasonable price to distinct clients.” Hence, it has been identified that
selected firm is trying to protect their image by expressing various things in different manner
(ECR Europe Forum, 2010).

Both the articles or information which is expressed by newspapers and Journals are
totally true but difference at large extent. Basically, its all about ASDA development or overview
in order to understand the background of selected firm (Hall, Agarwal and Green, 2013).
However, according to Daily Mail newspapers ASDA is engaging in a fraudulent activities
which may hamper their goodwill at marketplace. Whereas, Steve Burt is saying that Wal-Mart
is acquiring ASDA in order to increase their sales volume by satisfying needs or demands of
maximum customers. Hence, it has been assessed that selected firm is going through various ups
and downs due to fluctuation in external or internal factors because changes in these elements
have a major influence on a company success (Felsted , 2017).
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been summarized that ASDA was encountered with different
types of barriers and complex in various scandals which have a major impact on their company
development. Thus, assignment consist of necessary information related with ASDA presented
