network within the workplace to create a flexible working environment for the organisation. It is
the process of aligning technology with worker and work in order to improve the organisational
performance. At the time of global pandemic it becomes necessary for the organisation to
implement the strategy of digital workplace transformation in edict to recover the overall
performance of the organisation. Many organisations are shifting their focus on adopting the
business strategy of digital workplace transformation in order to operate their business function
in proper manner during Covid 19 pandemic (Selimović, Pilav-Velić and Krndžija, 2021). The
global crisis forces the organisation to rethink a workplace were all work are being aligned with
the digital technology and networks so that remote working can become possible and employee
can work in productive manner. millions of the company at that time transformed their working
space into digitalisation. This helps them to gain advantage and reduce the stress among the
employee. It also helps the organisation in increasing their agility towards their work and job
(Gabryelczyk, 2020).
For conducting the investigation, the chosen company is Asda. Asda is one of the biggest
British supermarket store. The founder of the brand is Peter and Fred Asquith and Sir Noel
Stockdale and they founded the store in 1949. Headquarter of Asda is located in Leeds, United
Kingdom. The product in which they deal are Grocery, General Merchandise, Financial service
and the service they provide are Asda mobile, Asda money, George and Asda living.

company faces due to absence of digital workplace with their business and also highlight the
various digital workplace transformation strategies used in improving the business function
(McCarthy, Sammon, and Alhassan, 2021). The present research has great interest for me as it
assists in achieving dual perspective which are personal and professional. In respect to the
professional objective, the current research would build various skills in me such as
communication skill, research skill, data analytics skill, problem solving skill and many more.
Theses all skill will aid in completing the investigation in scientific manner. As well as I would
also learn various tool and method which is used in research so that it can be done in systematic
manner. On the other hand, with respect to professional skill, the research will help in identifying
various job available in organisation so that I can develop my professional career. The workplace
transformations strategies will also help me in using these methods when I will be working as a
manger and improve the business function (Rinker and et. al, 2021).

work has becoming easier and also help in collaborating various job with one another, which

employee so that they can minimise the risk of fear among them as well as operate their function
while sitting home. This strategy helps them to continue their work and increase productivity
(Rospigliosi, 2020).
Online application and software: Another strategy that is used by Asda is adopting
online software and application so that they can track the performance of their employee as well
as can operate their business at the time of pandemic. The use of application and software also
improve their communication which also aid in making proper decision for the company (Marx
and Padmanabhan, 2020).

distribution and thematic. As per the chosen topic, frequency distribution method to review and

Sampling: Sampling is the method of taking sample from the society/. There are two
sampling method which are probability and non-probability sampling. In the present
investigation, probability sampling has chosen and in that random sampling method is used to
take out participants in equal and fair manner. This technique will help in providing equal
chance to the respondent to get selected. The sample size is 30 employees from the company
ASDA.
