5. An evaluation of the recruitment and selection process and the rationale for
appropriate HR practices?
The human resource management is the important pillar for the organisational activities
‘value chain' which is a group of actions performed in the organisation in order to be in the
environment of the organisational competitiveness. The human resources have consisted of
different practices included in the human resource practices through personal experience, a
system which appraises the potential of an employee and system which receives the feedback
and counselling from the employees on their experience of working in a company. The
application of the HR practices which includes so many things from which some of them are
in benefit of the company and some of them are in favour of the employee. No one is at the
position of profit, it means if a company does something wrong it will be punished and if an
employee does something wrong to the company then the company can sue or punish that
particular employee (Ruck and Welch, 2012). The level of satisfaction of the employees in
ASDA and impact on the satisfaction level of customers should be sustained and maintained
so that both of them can do something better for each other. The outcome in an organisation
with the help of the good human resource of the company like ASDA should satisfy both
employees and company. One thing is called the satisfaction received from the work done by
others and one thing is self-satisfaction which is also important to get by both of the
employee and organisation.
