Introduction
Workplace transformation is defined as rethinking about the workspaces to accommodate
the different kind of work, workers and technological departments. In other words, it is a method
which is used to improve workforce skills, tools and manage different constant changes within
the organisation and manage beneficial strategies. It is important to work effectively and monitor
the activities closely in business and public places. The external event is Covid-19 which make a
direct and indirect impact on the workplace transformation strategies within the organisation
(Hesketh, 2021). The base company for this project is Asda, which is a value led organisation
and their mission is to encourage employees for working in open and honest perspective growth.
The company provide a support to tackle major challenges and societies to make effective efforts
in different community. This research reports highlight the aim and objective of chosen topic, a
detailed project management plan for completing research with appropriate manners. Whereas,
chosen research methodology and data analysis is considered to complete the research and
achieve objectives.
Overview of the organisation
Asda is one of the growing retail sector industry which help their customers to complete
their basic needs in different manners. The company are now providing more than 600 stores
offline and their website are handling different transactions of about 2 million amount in a
month. All of these show that the chosen company is appropriate for the project as the
transformational changes are important and necessary for the company at their workplaces after
the impact of Covid-19 (Bailey, 2021).
Aim and Objectives
Aim: To evaluate the impact of major external events that has transformed the workplace
environment. A study on Asda.
Objectives:
To understand the concept of workforce transformation in Asda.
To analyse major strategies that is used by Asda to achieve workforce transformation.
To determine challenges faced by Asda while working on required transformation in
Asda.

Project management plan
It is a plan that defined as a formal document that actually involve the vital information
about the concepts that actually work and performed, cost need, utilisation of resources and

Scope: It is the stage which used to work on the transformational strategies to make
positive impact on the society and the company for longer period of time. It will be

with the use of Gantt chart and WBS is used to make proper report to complete a given
period of time.
Communication: It is one of the most necessary information to work and manage the
data to convey their respondents and achieve effective information through the chosen
topic. When researcher communicate effectively to their respondents and peer people
than it will be helpful for managing and reliable information about the chosen topic.
Resources: The resources which are needed is stationery items, time and management
funds, complete research time and achieve high informative resources to achieve aim and
objectives (Phillipov, 2021).
Risk: It is occur in every study which is related to some effective technical problems,
team management and different sectors. Within the study, researcher faced the issue
related to lack of trust and enhancing use of audience at large platform.
Quality: The quality of the project is related to work effectively and keep try to gain
their respondents trust by providing valid and reliable information in different segments.
This helps in achieving objective and provide an informative knowledge for their readers.

On the basis of caglar. (2021), there are certain kind of different strategies that can leads
to used by Asda Stores team for making effective development creates strong brand image.
There is use of on job training method through which manager of Asda Stores to make efficient
employees skills and knowledge to gain more productivity (Brinton, 2021). There is focus on
implementation of revised workforce transformation road map which is going to help in the
process of large scale learning and development sessions in the organization (principles of
workforce transformation, 2021).
What challenges are faced by Asda while working on required transformation in Asda?
In the perspective of Roe., (2020), there are some of challenges which creates effective
requirement to accomplish with digital transformation strategies. Such as there are high amount

different ways. This method includes the experience, concept and opinions for analysing
different people and manage the data in significant purpose. On the other hand, quantitative data
is useful for completing numerical values for computation in different techniques. This include
survey and questionnaire method that helps the company to get appropriate research methods
(Bagnini and Russo, 2021).
Primary and secondary research:
Primary data is collected through the major sources and applicable to the fresh and new
data sources. It is the method which is collected through survey and collect numerical data in
different segments. In this present study, researcher opted questionnaire method to collect their
primary data sources. Another method of data collection, secondary data collection method is

researcher collect the secondary sources through online, journals, books and newspaper.
Sampling:
It is the procedure which is used to select samples from the large number of population
and this method is used by the researcher for completing study. The chosen number of size is 30
who are the employees of the respective firm (Dodge, Eikenberry and Coule, 2021).
Present findings and data
To complete the primary research, researcher opted frequency distribution table that
helps to complete survey and make more appropriate research findings. Furthermore, to
complete these finding researcher use MS Excel to make graphs and charts for interpret the data
in more effective ways.
