Introduction
The research aims to discuss gender discrimination in the Asda Ponders End. The
most basic equality at the workplace means that none of the employees should experience any
discrimination concerning payment, gender, experience, appraisal, promotion and others.
Background
Asda Ponders End is a part of Asda supermarket which is one of the largest chains of
supermarket in the UK. They offer great quality as well as prices that will the customers save
their money.
Problem Statement
In recent years gender discrimination at workplace has become quite common. The
organisation needs to devise methods to encourage employees by curbing the gender
discrimination within the organisation. By doing this, the employees will be motivated.
Rationale
The only way to compete with the outside market is to ensure the efficiency of the
employees, and this can happen when the latter feels safe and secured in their workplace and
do not experience any discrimination.
