INTRODUCTION
Corporate social responsibility is an approach of organization that is used to deliver
social, economical and environmental benefits to the stakeholders of company by making
sustainable development in the functions and processes of organization. CSR is important to full
fill the basic requirement of ASOS Public Limited Company to main yain sustainable
performance.
TASK
Issues of Organization and Recommendations
Asos Public Limited Company is a online retailer in United Kingdom. It was founded in
year 2000 in London and Key people of organization are Adam Crozier, Nick Brighton and
Anders Holch Povlsen. The company is selling the clothing, shoes, accessories and beauty
products. Company is serving people online to provide them more convenience for shopping.
Poor communication, lack of awareness and performance issues (Grayson and Hodges, 2017).
The poor communication issue is major problem for organization. Because it can reduce the
performance of organization. The lack of awareness of company goals will affect the direction of
work of employees and will lead to less productivity of company. So this are the major issues of
The Classical management theory is the best suitable theory to manage the operation of
organization. This is focused on the method to make the people aware in the organization about
their work to get maximum output from them.
Different actions can be used to make the employees aware of their job. The best way to
make them acknowledge by conducting interaction session and provide them with specific list of
their role in company. In this interactive session the employees are guided by managers and
leaders. In these meetings employees are provided with the information and data of comp[any
goals. This is important to make them aware of job role to get high productivity from them. In
other method different training and developing sessions can be organized to improve their skills
and knowledge of related field.

CSR is a concept in which organization thinks of interest of society by managing impact
of different company activities. There are various activities are managed and performed by an
organization and these activities of company affect stake holders who are attached to
organization by their mutual interests.

The corporate social responsibility is important to follow for organization cause they also
have sustainable performance that is good for both organization and other things that are
connected to organization. There are many operations runs in the organization that are might
affecting the people who are not working in organization (Crane, Matten and Spence, 2019). To
manage the operation of organization different strategies are planned by the company to make
the operation of company more sustainable and good for ASOS PLC. Different scopes are there
where the company can work.
Different actions and strategies are used by ASOS PLC that comes under the social
corporate responsibility. The 34 % of all fibres used in the organization comes from the
sustainable sources and this action is taken to reduce the impact of organization on the natural
resources. ASOS PLC is the first organization that signs the contract of labour right agreement.
The product that are obtained from the wild animals are banned on the company website and by
this ban company is preventing the killing of wild animals (Yakovleva, 2017). More ththe impact
of n 34000 people are benefited by the organisation through different community programs.
Organization has provided 900 kits to Kenyan girls support them financially. This is how
different action and processes are undertake by organization to develop sustainable production
and operation.
Impact of Brexit on Organization
United Kingdom is the leader inn the online market in whole European region. The most
E- shoppers in the European region are from United Kingdom. After the Brexit more then 86 %
people have stopped online shopping and ASOS is the online retailer so, Brexit has major impact
on the ASOS PLC. Company phases a sever fall in the number of customer after Brexit. The
demand of the consumer are reducing cause of the Brexit. People are worry about different issues
like higher interest rate, inflation in the market and economy of United Kingdom and changes in
the trade and business laws. There is a bit issue is about the European law that is currently
working in the UK (Hopkins, 2016). There is uncertainty in both employees and organization.
This is causing a lot trouble to organization to in the business planning and strategy for the
online selling. The Brexit will affect the international trade policy of United Kingdom and this
will slightly change the laws of UK and legislation will directly affect the ASOS PLC. After the
Brexit the laws of European union will not be applicable in UK. This separation will affect the
traders in united Kingdom. This is how the Brexit affected the business of the ASOS PLC.

Reflection
We have studied the CSR (Corporate social responsibility) for the4 group presentation.
Through the whole process we have analysed different issued of ASOS that are related to the
management of company. According to my view the strategy and theory used by ASOS
organization is the best suitable for the performance of organization. The best thing about theory
is that this is more focused on the performance and productivity of individual employee. As we
know it the employee of organization are more focused in their work and aware of their targets
and goals this will improve their productivity in the ASOS PLC. As my opinion the methods
used in the to deal with different issues are good for productivity of organization. In the team
working we have learned different important things that are important to achieve desired output.
This how we have studied the Corporate Social Responsibility of ASOS PLC.
CONCLUSION
This report is concluding the importance of CSR for ASOS PLC to meet the social
responsibility they have. The classical management theory has been studied that are used by
ASOS PLC to solve different management issues in the organization. The impact of Brexit is
explained for the business of organization.
