“To assess the impact of adverse healthcare events on different service users in UK”.
2. Justification of the project
The risk of being harmed due to healthcare is high as compare to risk of being harmed by
any kind of accidents. The average number of adverse healthcare events in develop countries are
more high as compare to developing nations. The impact of different types of adverse healthcare
events has directly affected the health of the service users of UK. Therefore, it has important for
healthcare organizations to look at various undesired harmful effects resulting of a medical
treatments.
3. Literature review
The areas which will cover by researcher during the following study are meaning of adverse
healthcare events, reasons of occurrence of it, impacts of adverse healthcare activities on service
users and the method to prevent patients from adverse healthcare activities.
4. Rationale of study
In the present time, the event of adverse healthcare during treatment has increased. It has
directly affected the health of services users. Therefore, it will require to adopt some methods to
prevent the patients from undesired harmful effects of medical treatments.

Research design: Descriptive research design will used by the researcher.
Type of research: The scholar will use qualitative research type to accomplished the objectives of
following research.
Research philosophy: The appropriate research philosophy for current research will interpretivism.
Research approach: The investigator will select deductive approach for present research.
Data collection method: The researcher will use both primary and secondary method to collect
information. Questionnaire will be use as primary source of data collection and books, articles,
previous research, journals etc will be take as secondary source of information.
Data analysis: Thematic analysis will select by research to determine the impacts of adverse

During the research, the research will take some ethical considerations so that the objectives
