TASK 1 - LITERATURE REVIEW OUTLINE [40%]
You are required to develop an outline for a literature review based on your topic. Search for relevant
references that support your chosen subject area. You will need to source and cite at least fifteen references
to complete this outline; your literature may include peer-reviewed journal articles, books, industry reports, or
conference proceedings. You may select a new topic or continue with a topic from assessment-1.
After reviewing the literature, provide a structure for your literature review using the suggested formats in the
lecture and tutorial sessions.
Your outline should consist of a series of meaningful headings [IN CAPITALS] and a number of bullet points
beneath each outlining the main logic of the argument. The outline serves as the initial step before writing the
full literature review, to form its logical structure, finalise flow of the arguments, and check coherence of the
literature review. Space has been provided for FIVE sections (headings) only that represent a five paragraph
literature review. Provide short in-text references for all the facts that support your core logic within the bullet
points, e.g. (Smith and Jones 2001).

CSR activities are not only done in order to have proper compliance with various rules and regulations but
also going beyond its responsibilities to do good for the society. When an organization engages in CSR
activities, the common perception of the society is that the company is not only aimed at earning profits but to
do something good for the society and therefore this practise by the organizations attract all those customers
who have the same values and another perception about organizations who are engaging in CSR activities is
that it is more sustainable than other organizations. In order to do the same, Organizations need to engage
themselves in community events and various local events such as trade fairs and others
(Unit 2015). This will create a thinking that the company is shoeing concern to local community in which they
are operating. The company needs to engage local suppliers for the same purpose- this will help the local
suppliers in earning revenue and will also help to create a good image of the company in front of the society.
CSR activities should not only be focused on social development but also development of the employees such
that the employees should feel happy(crane, matten and Spence 2019). The CSR activities should be focused
at professional and personal development of the employees. Scorecard has to be used such that the
performance of the CSR activities can be measured and in order to understand the gaps in their CSR
activities .
