training

old learners and I am only one who focus on the three significant areas of EYFs that include
communication and language development emotional physical and social development and
physical development. The assessment which I use is the formative assessment as it is the
combination of the formal assessment that is an ongoing and also done by effective observation.
I do it because I want to accomplish some of the EYFs criteria which is observed by the
government and also ordered us to teach it significantly. Moreover, I must stick to this and my
nursery policy which is useful in terms of teaching according to the EYFs criteria. For example,
my 2-year-old child has the hearing problem which depict that I need to talk immensely slowly

that I need to protect my learners on the grounds of mental and physical well being and protect
them from any harm and danger. I also make sure that I need to treat all of my learners on the

and circumstances. With in my nursery practice I also have a child who has the requirement of
special education like autism and I also conduct various assessments on his behaviour like I
conducted the primary assessment which is done in the starting to analyse the prior skills and
knowledge which he had and by this I can examine that he was showing sings and symptoms of
autism and by this I also continue conducting formative assessment which is ongoing and I did it
in terms of increasing my observation which I need to carry out for the several observation role
play a and also confirm that the child was representing significant indication to have autism. I
also told my manager that she also carried out effective observation by agreeing with me that the
child had Autism and I had to ensure that I obtained written permission from his parents before
referring that child to the special educational needs team as due to this my general data
protection regulation policy need me to obtain the permission before I could mention the name of
child and also reach out for help in terms of supporting him. For this I got the permission and
referred him to the special educational needs team and they are helping him in terms of making
effective and positive development towards the educational changes and also conducted the
individual learning plan by following early year Foundation stages that offer them proper support
for the longer period of time in terms of accomplishing their objectives by setting out for him but
it takes long time and significant support in terms of accomplishing the standard objectives that
are set out for him.

3.2 Analyse ways in which minimum core elements can be demonstrated in
assessing learners

this they must consider having the core skills in them. Teacher should have the skills that leads to

will be able to find out the ways in which practice and other set of knowledge and skills can be
improvised and learners can get better level of advantages from it. Likewise, feedback process
should also be initiated in the process of self reflection which can be attained by an individual by
asking about various people about their point of view like learners, colleagues friends so that
pros and cons can be evaluated for or improving the practice and providing a better level of

learning to a learner. Action Plan can be made by a teacher which will consist of SMART PLAN
which has certain targets like specific measurable achievable, relevant and timely. This in turn
allow better level of learning process for the learners who can get organised by this target
project. Will also allow teacher to attend various meetings training and reading out the books
along with researching for bringing improvisation within their set of knowledge and therefore
share it with other people and learners so that everybody can gain right amount of knowledge
and improve their skills over time.
Ensure that in my practice all the activities and lessons will be highlighted and briefly discussed
with the learners so that every skills and set of knowledge can be created like learning styles,
needs and objectives. I have various learners with me and among them there is a one learner
whose learning preference is auditory and for him I have put on the colours song with the picture
of every colour on the YouTube so that we can listen to it and sing along and therefore learn
about them and improve his original and basic skills.
On the other hand, I have also presented a presentation slide for my I learners where I considered
different pictures along with the names and give them printouts that were on A3 size papers. I
have also mixed two different colours and this was done by me just because to see what colour I
will come out if I mix both of them. This has helped me out in making a fun loving day for the
children (visual learners). Away with this, I have also considered different elements like religion,
background, age appearance, ethnicity, and so on that were followed by my learners and this help
me out in considering an inclusive teaching criteria. This was done by me among different it
tools and applications like lessons, posters sheets and so on while delivering the information to
my learners so that they can learn about different perspectives and relations along with
backgrounds and start cooking with each other because this is something which is important for
them when they will become adult as it will hard for them to handle each and everything if they
don’t get proper knowledge about collaborative nature. This improved both celebration and
recognition at the time when I was delivering information to my learners and this impacted
positively on their overall interest towards whatever I was teaching them. Including this, in my
own setting I have found that, we usually perform peer assessments in a month which is
something that delivers detailed information about different observations that individuals who
are working with me carrying on whatever practice I have done. This delivers information in
relation with how effectively I have performed my practice and how much planned each and

well because this is something that is much more important for an individual to carry out all the

of my learners and so on. Away with this, I have also considered feedbacks from my learners as
well after finishing my sessions just to make sure that if they are properly satisfied with whatever
I have taught to them. I took this initiative because this will effectively help me in taking right
decisions if I am not been able to help them with what exactly they have planned to learn from
me.

After analysing the present environment, I have realised that it is important for one to identify
different areas that can be improved because considering this approach, anybody can
successfully perform different range of tasks and help the individual in in achieving desired goals
and objectives. In order to improve my own practice, it is pretty much needed for me as well to
consider different areas in which I am weak and try to improve them considering an assessment
because then only I might become able to deliver the best and suitable services or perform best
practice in much effective and efficient manner. In present context, I can say that it is needed for
me to make sure that I perform every single tasks in rightful manage through managing time is
well and sticking to the plan which is to deliver proper knowledge to my learners that I have
already planned. This is where I have found that it is needed by me to improve my time
management skill as it is one of the crucial area in which I lack somewhere. According to

also realised that if I can effectively take advice from top level management along with the other
individuals like my colleagues that how they figure out how to keep a flow in regards with
ensuring that they stick to giving their students the time that they have arranged and not go over
the time period limit assigned per action. Including this, I have somewhere managed to set a
specific SMART goal that I can easily achieve like going over the focuses on the meeting for just
five minutes and afterward doing the ice breaker for ten minutes which is a little prologue to the
meeting that will slide my students into the meeting with an effective and efficient starting point.
