INTRODUCTION
Primary schools are essential to get focus on the behaviour of students at their primary
level of education. With the help of some activities, schools focus on physical as well as mental
development of children. To know more about this, in broader concept highlight on social,
theoretical and political concept of assessment practices are considered at large. To increase the
standard and level of literacy, focus are made on grammar and many things. There is highly need
of assessments for determining and measuring the level of students in knowledge and skills. For,
this measuring purpose different kinds of assessments are conducted in primary schools to know
about the children lagging in terms with superiority in different terms. By focusing on the
lagging activities they are allowed to concentrate more on those activities that are good for the
children by which name of primary schools will also be developed. In order to perform these
terms, parents teachers meet is highly appreciated getting discussed about the facts and
knowledge on basis of skills, traits etc., overall in this report it is outline about the importance of
primary school, their conducted and framed kinds of assessments and requirements of meetings
with the parents or guardian to get discussed about principles and strategies of reporting on
achievement of report of students.
MAIN BODY
What are the broader contexts (social, theoretical and political) in which assessment practices
reside in primary school.
To raise the standard in literacy, emphasis is increased on primary education of state. On
the basis of regular tests, knowledge is measured on basic skills, reading and writing to know
about children attainment (The Advantages and Disadvantages of various assessment methods,
2018). Currently, skills are known by testing the kids in terms of phonics, grammar, spellings,
punctuation and reading comprehension. This knowledge can be grabbed only if they practice
literacy. In order to achieve the social goals, which are imbued with policies and ideologies that
are of social setting. In the social world the practice of literacy must be implemented. The
relationship between primary schools and children, interpret by investigating the process of
reading and writing. These practical knowledge that are made available to the children, socially
benefits them to get involved in the activities of social by getting participated in it. There is very
strong relationship between theoretical practices in primary schools (Toms and et.al., 2015). As,

missions and role of teachers in educations. With effective discussion, it is easy to define a
proper relationship of theory and practice, by knowing about the nature and aim of theory, and
their practices. Without arguments and deep discussions practice of theories cannot be stated to
kids in primary school, as they are in kneed of deeper knowledge about the fun and facts. With
the help of theories by aiming at the knowledge that are to be provided by theory basis. Practical
work is carried for the kids with the required tools and kits like, informative pictures, charts,
colours and many more things, in order to gain their interest in literacy by which social benefits
can be availed by rendering sufficient and efficient (Clemes and et.al., 2016). By fixing
command on working, and making the important instruments that are essential for theoretical
instructions, the knowledge of subject matters, and principles of education. By bridging contrast
between two points, which is obvious, also including the two aims, is to form and equip the
actual teacher. The framed aim and objective in ultimately taken into practice for the purpose of
education. With the help of intellectual method that are taught to the students of primary schools,
good workmanship could be rendered to the society. Also, multi directional political activity can
be added in the primary schools by which teaching of morals can be taught. This allow learners
to avoid conflicts and accusations of bias by performing politics even through educators. Politics
can be converted as pedagogical practice. The hindrance and barriers raised due to differences in
thoughts and views as some considered by responding social terms as teacher could involve
meditating conflicts policy and many more, by which children can get knowledge out of it. This
allow the primary children by meeting the terms of professional development. The arguments
can be taught to develop the kinds of arguments by which knowledge can be provided by
allowing the children in terms of critical thinking, and strengthening their thoughts with
developments (Loke and et.al., 2016). To develop children who are enrolled in primary school
for attaining education, development can be enhanced by providing knowledge and boosting the
basic skills with the help of instruments like kits and education stationery. It is been a huge
arguments like schools of primary instead of focusing on knowledge providing, they have
created a competition which creates burden on the kids for scoring first in the class or either in
activities.
What are the benefits and limitations of a range of assessment strategies?
There are six kinds of assessment that are undertaken in primary schools to develop the
personality and thoughts, views of children (McEwan, 2015). With the help of teaching staff,

diagnostic assessment are considered to get well known about strength, weakness, knowledge,
and skills those are prior to instruction. In other words it can be called as pre assessment. It is
considered as baseline to work form. The advantage of this type of assessment is it enables to get
well known about children while disadvantage, is kids due to mood swings, can never respond
by which wrong detail can be grabbed by staff. The second type of assessment is formative,
performances are measured during instructions and throughout the process of instruction is
measured, this is the major advantage, due to hindrances and barriers of any kind, performances
cannot be measured. Another method which are in third of queue is summative assessment,
which are collected and measured at the end of the instructions. It is effectively with the help of
this assessment as what went right as well as wrong (Weldon, 2015). Fourth method is non
referenced assessment, which details about, performances of different students by comparing.
There are huge hindrances that are created with this assessment are biasses are created among
different students and comparison are made at large which affects the minds of the students
negatively also among the parents, comparison gets starts among their children who gets first in
the terms of examination those are conducted and who remains last by which they may get
ignored in terms of studies. Also, there is benefit of these type of assessment is it enables the
parents to get know about their as where they are lagging behind. In the primary schools by
getting well known about the carried skills and knowledge of children, allow them in future to
grow respectively. By remaining lack in terms of knowledge of children in syllabus may allow
both the parent and child to suffer throughout the year. Fifth method of assessment is criterion
referenced assessment, the student performances are measured in terms of goals, aims and
objectives, or by measuring the level of standards. Interim or benchmark assessment, at the end
of the grading period, students performances are evaluated, from time to time for example mid
terms tests are conducted for the kids of primary school to know about their knowledge, skills,
sincerity, discipline and parents involvement in the studies of learners. It is highly recommended
form the side of school to get part in students learning process by which parents can be well
known and determine the level of knowledge that are grabbed by their children. Any kind of
assessment, that are organised or conducted from the part of schools either they are primary of
senior level, there are several benefits including the drawbacks, the graph moving towards
upward or downwards can be effectively known (Nghiem and et.al., 2015). Most of the times it
is found that students including their parents gets scared by the name of assessment, but in reality

assessment makes them capable to face the situations of different circumstances. To develop and
measures the knowledge, it is very essential to know the rate of performances which are given in
form of progress report from school administrations. These report cards help them to boost in
particular lagging terms. At the same time due to negative markings children may also get
negative feedbacks and may get neglected in terms of same from the school premises, which
affects the minds of the children. Overall by outlining this report, importance are raised for
measuring the performances of children are very essential to know about their knowledge and
skills and process of development.
What are the principles and strategies for reporting on student achievement.
It is very essential to report the parents regarding students who are in education field, to
make aware their parents about their progress and development (Lynch, 2015). Of the further
process parents acknowledge and progress of students are highly implacable either they are in
primary of in senior level of education the purpose of reporting can be evaluated by knowing the
principles and strategies of reporting on achievements of students. The principles and strategies
of reporting are detailed in this report as follows, the purpose of reporting is to allow the parents
to kn ow about their children grown in terms of academics, sports and overall mental and
physical development. Also, with this concentration is made on informing the parents about the
children behaviour ins school with their class mates and staff and others. With the helps of
informations that are provided by teachers of primary school can take into consideration by
parents by performing effective towards the growth of the children. In order to get the reports
from school, involvements of parents teachers are highly appreciated getting aware of everything
including he behaviour of teacher can be well determined by parents by which evaluations can be
made regarding the safe future of children. Also, inputs from parents and guardians who are
present in the parents teachers meet should be known about them with their thoughts, views and
many more. The strategy of this reporting should be quality based as, information is to be
rendered regarding their achievements, meaningful information, improvements that are to be
made in learnings, and enhancement that have to be made in learnings. All the confidential terms
are to be communicated effectively to come to nan conclusion. Apart from this any kind of
health issues that a child is undergoing should be considered (Cohen and et.al., 2015).
Motivations and support from the parental side or on behalf of school should be considered and
discussed at large, including the needs of any extra curricular activities for students have to be

take into consideration. Here misbehaviour or any kind of misconduct are also discussed meeting
the results and objectives that are framed on primary kids. Any kind of disease, infections or
weakness that are child is undergoing should be considered, by which administration department
of primary school remains active in taking care of such child (Petersen, 2015).
CONCLUSION
Primary schools plays a prominent role in developments of child growth and mental
health to meet their future effectively by directing them towards discipline, punctuality etc., here,
including mental health physical health is also maintained well by allowing to get involve in
outdoor as well as indoor games. By which their knowledge and critical thinking power can be
enhanced. To boost the knowledge of every individual child according to their mind set and
nature of differences as they belong to different traditions and culture, primary schools acts as
important role to meet the terms effectively by teaching them brotherhood and accepting and
adjusting nature.
