INTRODUCTION
Project management is process of leading the work of team in order to achieve the set project
goals within the given constraints. Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling as well as
closure are five crucial activities of project that need to be managed for achievement of project goals.
This report depicts crucial information related to one of the project of application development started
by the Astra PLC to delivered better services to customers. It has explained about the project scope, its
associated risk and success.
A. Project plan

Above is Gantt chart that represent crucial information related to activities that will be
undertaken to complete the project of development of new application. Such as first idea will be
generated, then its viability will be assessed, budget will be set and testing and finally launching of the
project.
B. Project scope
The scope of new project that has been started by Astra Plc is wide as it will provide services to
maximum number of people for their health and well-being. The company is planning to launch an new
health and fitness app within a time frame of at least 3 months. There will be maximum benefits of the
app that has been developed by Astra Plc such as it will allow users to set fitness target for their health
and well-being. The app has been design with an main motivate to provide customers necessary
information about their fitness so that they can take necessary steps to improve their health. Overall
cost that has been incurred in order to launch the app is around 4000 and it also has social media
integration that contribute in facilitating healthy behavior changes (Aanbari and Kwak, 2018). At the
same time, educating or making people aware about the healthy lifestyle and the way they can maintain
their health through in taking nutrition food, proper diet etc.

app, company can easily have strong position in market as innovative firm that offer more qualitative
services to customers. Furthermore, for the application wide number of target customers are being
selected such as from youngster to parents, athletes, professional, retired customers and social media
inference (Picciotto, 2020). As in current scenario, maximum number of people are highly concerned
about their health and well-being so company by providing services to them can easily achieve its set
objective in limited time frame. At last the app has been tested before on the basis of its benefits,
services that will be rendered through the use of application to the customers.

Each and every project involves certain amount of associated risk that need to be
overcome for achievement of project goals. Such as in context of Astra plc, it is planning to

customers that has added to the firm because of introduce of App will be measured. In addition to this,
profitability, market share and overall brand image of company will be key factors that will be used to

can be achieved. Astra Plc through making the best use of available resources, identifying and
overcoming associated risk can launch the app that could help people in maintaining their health and
