The concept of project management is concerned with the application of knowledge, skills,
processes, methods and experiences in order to attain the particular objectives and goals of the
project (Bharathi and Dinesh, 2018). It is considered as a technique that supports all types of
major activities as well as functions of the project. Within the project management, there are
multiple types of strategic and planning tools that are necessary to manage a project. The aspect
of project management along with its different dimensions facilitates the project manager in the
process of managing all kinds of things which are associated with the project in an effective as
well as precise manner. Astra Plc is an organisation that is taken into consideration for
demonstrating different aspects of this report. The respective company is a micro organisation
and is engaged in the process of selling vitamins and minerals. In this project, a health and
fitness application is going to be launched and its name is “TechFitness” which will concentrate
on reducing the obesity as well as other great fitness-related complexities. The project will also
consist of the scope, success as well as multiple risks that occur in the process of managing a
project systematically.

A project plan describes the goals as well as objectives of the project and particular tasks or
activities along with the process of achieving the goals and identifying the required resources,
associated budget and deadlines for accomplishing the project (Chiu and Cho, 2020). It involves
evolving primary strategy that helps in enhancing the capabilities and strengths for managing the
project. Within Astra Plc, the planning of the project of application development provides
assistance to the leaders for evolving effective techniques and ways for completing the project.
For effective application development, it is very significant for the project manager to design an
effective and major plan (Henderson, 2022). The planning of the project of application
development TechFitness will focus on main dimensions of the project as well as risk analysis
which is concerned with project. Project manager will take effective action for mitigating risk to
complete the project on set time. There is a Gantt Chart which will help the project manager in
accomplishing the project on time.

health and fitness application. As per the latest developments in the IT sector, the application
will get developed through IT experts and professionals. For providing access to a large number
of individuals, TechFitness will be available on the Google Play Store and also on Apple Store
(Irkhin and et.al., 2019). This type of application will offer major solutions to youngsters in order
to maintain effective and better health for good life. In this kind of application, some training
sessions will also be given by effective trainers for the purpose of enhancing satisfaction of
market share. Astra Plc has set a budget of 80000 pounds for allocating the funds to different
activities that are involved in the process of application development. TechFitness will also
involve some of the challenges which are concerned with the application development. This will
also concentrate on offering great supplements to youngsters for improving their muscles and the
application will also give quick responses to psychological aspects within the life of health and
fitness. The development of health and fitness application will also put emphasis on generating
awareness among market share regarding health and fitness related tasks through framing
effective solutions.
Risk and its management for the project
The aspect of risk management is said to be a process which permits the risks of an
individual to be understood as well as get managed in a precise way through optimising the
success and reducing the threats along with maximisation of results and opportunities. For
managing risk, it is great responsibility of a project manager to concentrate on enhancing the
