a) Project plan
there is require of proper planning in developing App. For that, gantt chart is used which
shows systematic way of developing app. It is as follows
here, first of all app design and UI drawing are made. This is first step which helps in providing
framework of entire app and its design. In this wireframe, info flow, mock ups, etc. are built in it.
app development- in this developer develop app by doing coding and programming. Thus, both
front and back end development is done in it (Burnik, and et.al., 2020).
testing- the testing is done to analyse efficiency of app and find out if there exists any errors or
not. The software quality is also tested in it. functional, security and performance testing is done
in it.
deployment- the app then launched or deployed for people to download.

b) Project scope
App design and launch cost- the app design and UI will be easy to understand and operate. The
design will be just like normal health app but having additional feature of buying food
supplements in it. however, the overall launch cost required for app will be $500.
Social media integration – the app will be integrated with social media platforms as well. here,
user can log in to app with help of Facebook and instagram social media platforms. besides that,
they can share heath status on these platforms easily through app. Thus, it will be easy to log in
by integrating with social media (Kermanshachi, and et.al., 2020).
In app purchase- there will be option for in app purchase. The user can buy food supplements
from it easily. It will also show price of products to user. Hence, products will be delivered to
user home.
App customisation – the app will consists of a feature in which user can customise it
accordingly. This means user will be allowed to decide what data and info related to health must
be displayed on screen. In this way user can also customise on which social site is to be used in
it. so, functions of app can be customised but not its features.
Testing of app- it is necessary to do testing of app so that it is identified whether there are any
errors occurring in or not. Moreover, testing enable in ensuring functions and features of app.
Thus, app will be tested by experts and its results will be obtained. For that, 10-20 people will be
asked to download app and then it will be tested.
Launch of app- the launching is done when testing is done and no errors are found. So, here app
will be launched through live event on social media that is You Tube. Furthermore, promotions
will be done on various social sites such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. (Kidd, 2020)
c) Project risk
In every project there are certain risk which can occur. The risk can highly impact on app
design and its launch. Therefore, it is necessary that in order to reduce risk proper measures

needs to be taken. so, for that first of all risk must be identified. Likewise, in Astra Plc app
project as well risk that can occur are defined as below

d) Project success
It is necessary to measure success of project so that it is identified whether app was
successful or not. Moreover, it helps in analysing failure points and then improving it in future
project. Thus, there are certain criteria for measuring app success. They are defined as below
Number of downloads- it is first criteria that is used to measure app success. In this it is
identified that how many people have downloaded the app. If there are many downloads then app
is success and if not then app is failure (Van Heerden, and et.al., 2020).
Review by people- this is another way to measure app success. Here, by analysing review of
people regarding app its success is identified. This means if reviews are positive then people are
also promoting to download app then it is success otherwise not.
Active users- in this it is analysed that how many users are actively using app. This is different
from number of downloads as here user activity is tracked. More number of active users indicate
app success and less number shows app failure.
New installs- the app installed by new people in week or month is measured. It state that whether
new installs are increasing or same. With that app success can be measured easily.
Thus, these are some ways by which Astra Plc app success can be measured. It enables in
gathering data and info from market regarding app usage.
