INTRODUCTION
This part has been included in the PPT which has been attached in the appendix

Project plan-
Astra PLC is a small sized company which is specialising in Vitamin and mineral based
food supplements and this market according to recently conducted statistics and surveys is on a
boom which chance of major profitability (Stanitsas, and Kirytopoulos, 2021). In order to
increase their profit and market share and establishing their brand image the new project plan
being pursued by the company involves the development of a health and fitness app to enter
digital fitness space. For the accomplishment of this goal, it is necessary for the company to
develop an optimum plan and start proceeding further by following this. On the very first stage, a
survey needs to be conduct by the company for the identification of the opportunity for the
success of this application. For the second stage decisions regarding the kind of facilities which
company is planning to offer their customers through this app. And on the last stage there will be
a successful launch of this application. A Gantt chart has also been prepared herein which will
help understand the report in a better manner by classifying the activities by attaching a viable
timeline to them.

Project Scope-
There are various which has to be considered in order to develop this health and fitness
app such as deciding types of features in the app. For this, Astra Plc need an efficient
development who will guide the company about the designing of the app. Company is planning
to develop the app which is able to construct the diet chart and intake of nutrition which is
required for an individual (Zhou, Irizarry and Lu, 2018). And to check the growth among the
user, app will also provide feature of activity tracker. Other options like sharing of daily routine
to their people and regular alert notification to make them aware to follow this routine. In order
to launch this app, Astra Plc requires an investment of around 20000 pounds, and a proper
budget is required to avoid the situation of excess cost. Connecting this app through social media
would be a great idea, if company wants to get more customers for their app. Platforms like
Instagram, Facebook, will help the company to stay in touch with the online users specially

youth, because in current time they are more conscious about their health. This will help the
company to grab their attention towards their app by offer unique features in their app.
Furthermore, company can take help of freemium method of monetization for this health and
fitness application as can attract the customers by offering them basic features of the app at free
of cost. Later on company can charge a nominal amount to use this app. Before an official
launching of the app, testing is mandatory, as it will tell the company about the errors and
modification to improve the efficiency of the app. After this a successful launch of the app will
be conducted.
Risk involved in the process of application development
While developing this health and fitness application, Astra plc must take care about the
risk which are associated with this project and can negatively affect the procedure. Unavailability
of funds or rise in the cost in respect to the decided budget which may leads to burden of
excessive finance. Presence of competitors who may have enough potential to provide better
service to the customers. Lack of security for the data which has been shared by the users while
registering themselves to use the facilities which have been offered by the company. Talking
about the internal weakness of the team which is working on this project, unable to prepare the
design for the development of the application before the deadline which may leads to delay in
other activities which are associated with this project. Such activities in the team bring
difficulties to perform the duties which are assigned to the members, because their activities rely
on the thing that how effectively the development team has designed the project. Although, many
experienced people are working in the team, but it is important for the company to evaluate each
phase of this project (Raharjo, and Purwandari, 2020). There are many has been noticed by the
consumers while using such android application as which could be related to the complexity in
getting the access of the app, glitches. Team should be aware about this that too much
advertisement on the app can irritate the user and force them to delete the app, so it is important
to ensure the least visibility of ads on the app. To launch the health and fitness application
without facing any complex problems which can hamper the promotion of the project among the
people, Astra PLC should focus on strengthen their planning to handle such risk during this
project.

Project Success-
There are numerous ways which Astra PLC can use in order to measure the success of
their project which is a health and fitness application. By looking at the numbers of downloads in
the application store, company can identify the reach of their project among the people. It is the
most basic criteria which can be used to identify the success of the project. Sometime, people
uninstall the application just after they downloading, as they do not find anything interesting in
the app. So to check the retention of users with the project company can explore the presence of
active members on the platform. App stores also allow users to give their feedback in the form of
reviews, in order to check their experience with the particular app. If company is getting more
positive reviews for their project, this means that people are enjoying the services of the
application. Analysing the activity time period of the members which they are spending to use
the features of the app and how much time they are using the app will also support in knowing
the success of the app and how effectively it is working to guide the people about the safety and
importance of diet plan or nutritions to live a healthy life. Like the company is integrating this
project with social media sites, so company can take help popularity index to measure the growth
of the app among the online users (Guertler, and Sick, 2021).

to develop an app which is related to health and fitness. In the conclusion of this report, it has
been noticed for achieving this task Astra PLC have to perform different task which has been
assigned in the process of project management.
