P3. Findings on effective use of human and physical resources.
Human Resources :- In Non profit organizations, like International Meducare, the human
resource employed are as important as the physical resources. HR personnel is the most
important asset in any company and hence by giving them equal importance and developing
them in the correct manner, can be hugely beneficial for the managers of the company (Brewster,
Mayrhofer and Morley, 2016). At present, the most efficient employee in International Meducare
is Mr Farah who is the Project Manager in South Sudan branch of the company. The
management should ensure that the employees whose performance is good enough should be
kept motivated and the employees who are not as efficient as they should be, need to be properly
evaluated and given training accordingly so that their performance can be improved if possible or
other wise remove them. The HR can adopt various practices like training and development
exercise, better communication channels etc. which will help them in crating a more efficient
personnel
Physical Resources :- Similarly, the physical resources of the company can also be analysed o
the basis of Key Performance Indicator Technique. It can be concluded that in case of Water
Sanitation Projects while in the year 2012-13, the actually achieved targets were much lower i.e.
half than the planned ones but in year 2013-14, the targets achieved are much more than the
planned ones. In case of Gender Violence Projects, in financial year 2012-13 the targets achieved
are much lower than the planned ones and in year 2013-14, the planned and achieved targets are
almost equal. Then there are other KPI's where no.13 out performed in both the years and no. 15
under performed heavily in both the years.
It should be ensured that people who have been hired are adequate in number and should
have appropriate skills as per the position. Equal allocation of jobs will help the organisation to
avoid overburdening. If the humans are not pressurized than and they will be provided friendly
environment than the results will be better.
4.4 Recommendations for improving efficiency.
Improving the performance of an employee and also their efficiency is the primary target
of all the companies. The lower output is always attributed to the lower ability of the workers,
but instead of shifting the blame; identification of the root causes and adopting corrective
employees inviting their suggestions regarding which practices should be adopted by
management so that employee performance can be increased.
The lower output is always attributed to the lower ability of the workers,
but instead of shifting the blame; identification of the root causes and adopting corrective

measures is the most suitable technique for improving management (Bratton and Gold, 2017).
