1. Project Description
The AudEd Inc organization is not for profit organization and it is used to give the online
education for Information technology and business to Students. It provides the education for the
student anywhere in the world and most of the students are come from outback areas of Papua
New Guinea, Australia and South Pacific Islands. It provides the education programs through
online and it is used to provide the flexibility for student to study a university degree without
visiting the campus. It deals with business, industries and communities to provide the multiple
learning experiences and opportunities for a student. These are used to develop the discipline
specific skills and generic skills to lifelong learning. It also offers the higher education and
provides the opportunity to experience it. It is registered in Australia and it is not for profit
organization. It also registered as a non – self - accrediting higher education provider. It has the
online education, education programs activities to provide the flexible education for a student.
The online education activities are used to provide the study programs for their student to variety
of means including the uses of electronic library resources, online discussion forums, direct
communication with lecturer and special study center. It also provides the study material online
or by post.
The education programs activities are used to provide the post graduate and undergraduate
programs and it is used to provide the generic foundation to begin a career in information
business or technology. The education programs are included the following areas like database
management, application development and network engineering. It also has professional and
core pathway units which is used to allow the students who are specialized in supply chain
management, occupational health and safety and accounting. Some students are studying both
information technology and business. The organizational structure has three divisions of blocks
such as operations, course delivery and sales. These are used to manage the overall
organizations. The strategic plan for the organization has two elements, the first element is used
to increase the income by diversifying the source of funding and second element is to minimize
the cost of non-core activities and it supports the operation and technology development which
uses MYSOV, CRM software to maintain accounting system by a technical staffs. The email
system uses the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. The organization believes to achieve its
strategic objective by using the project off line Moodle and project photo exam. These are

technological developments of the organization. But, the organization does not provide the
effective education programs compared to other. So, it is decided to improve IT infrastructure for
an organization. The proposed IT infrastructure is used to provide the effective education
programs for a student. The proposed IT infrastructure will be created and discussed in detail.
2. Scope and Problem Definition
The main scope this project is to create the New IT infrastructure for an organization by
analyzing the existing infrastructure. The proposed IT infrastructure is used to increase the
demand for an organization to provide the better service for both staffs and students. It is used
for future planning for an organization. The Proposed IT infrastructure includes the network
infrastructure and it contains the clients, servers and also has the security features for an
organization by using the VPNs and firewalls. The Existing IT infrastructure has some problems
and these are resolved by using the proposed IT network infrastructure for an organization. The
Existing IT infrastructures have the following problems such as does not provide the reliability,
does not provide high security and it does not use the high beneficial hardware and software for
an infrastructure. So, the existing organization does not provide the efficient and effective
features for an organization. So, it decreases the demand for an organization. The Proposed
network infrastructure is resolving the existing IT infrastructure to provide the efficient and
effective features and increase the demand for an organization.
3. System Descriptions
The organization IT infrastructure has the three divisions of blocks such as operations,
course delivery and sales. These are used to manage the overall organizations. The Sales division
is used to manage the marketing and sales operations and it is responsible for management of
course and agents promotion. The course delivery division is responsible for development of
educations, course materials, testing and assessment and education administrations. The
operation division is used to manage all the core operations including the information systems,
information management, accounting and human resources. The organization system design
consists of these three divisions to manage the overall organizations. These divisions contain the
staff to handle the student at any time. The Organization system design also has special study
Centre’s to provide the reliable services and it increases the demand for an organization. The

special study centers are used to offer the tutorial meeting with the state of the art video
conferencing facilities, support the staff to assist with academic enquiries and wireless
networking to enable the student laptops and devices to access the internet and organization
systems. It also provides the printing, Photo typing and scanning facilities for a student. But,
existing network infrastructure does not provide the effective network access for a student. It
does not provide the secure network access for an organization. So, the purposed network
infrastructure using high beneficial network devices to provide the effective network access for
an organization. It uses the firewall and VPN to provide the secure network access for an
organization.
4. Assumptions
The Proposed network infrastructures use the cisco network devices to provide efficient
and effective network access. The cisco network devices are used to reduce the organization
operations cost and maintenance costs. The Proposed network also uses the oracle database to
maintain the accounting information and mail server to maintain the email system for an
organization (Kurose & Ross, 2017). The oracle database software is the most popular database
server. It is used to provide the reliable and secure database for an organization. This database
securely maintains the organization information and it is managed by using the organization
administrative officers. The mail server is used to provide the effective mail system for an
organization and it reduces the maintenance costs. The mail server is securely sending the
information between the clients and server (Kurose & Ross, 2017).

The proposed network infrastructure is shown below.
The proposed network infrastructure is used to provide the scalability and reliability for an
organization. It is used to increase the organization demand and provide the better services for
both staffs and students. The organization has the three divisions such as operations, course
delivery and sales (Hallberg, 2013). These are used to manage the overall organizations. . The
operation division is used to manage all the core operations including the information systems,
information management, accounting and human resources. The course delivery division is
responsible for development of educations, course materials, testing and assessment and
education administrations. The Sales division is used to manage the marketing and sales
operations and it is responsible for management of course and agents promotion. The course
delivery division is responsible for development of educations, course materials, testing and
assessment and education administrations. The IT infrastructure has two main educations such as

information business and technology (Yeung & Wong, 2009). This organization provides the
educations for student in online. So, it needs to high speed network access and secure network
access. The proposed network infrastructure provides high speed network access by using the
cisco router because the cisco routers are used to provide the high and secure network access,
reliable and flexible network access for both student and staffs. These organizations believe the
two technological development such as project offline Moodle and project photo exam. These
two developments are needed to improve by using reliable network access for an organization.
The Proposed IT infrastructure is increased the demand by using the high reliable and scalable
network devices and technologies (Queueing Networks, 2011). The purposed IT infrastructure
also satisfies the business needs of external and internal users in the organization. The External
and internal users are used to handle the overall organization and it is used to satisfies the
organization needs. These are used to provide the better services for staffs and students. It also
improves the organization strategic plan to provide the availability and effective services for an
organization.
6. List of equipment and devices with Justification for the Design
The Proposed IT infrastructure uses the Cisco network devices such as cisco routers,
switches, firewall, email server, database server, file server and web server. These are connected
with each other. The router is used to provide the high speed network and secure network access.
The cisco switches are used to connect the three organization divisions and it also provides the
efficient network for each division on the organization. The cisco firewall is used to provide the
secure network connection (Soni, Altfatter & Mukherjee, 2018). The email server uses the mail
system for an organization and it is used to provide the secure mail systems. The database server
is used to maintain the all the information related to account and it is managed by using the
administrative officers (French, 2010). The file server is used to maintain the overall
organization information. The web server is used to provide the effective web services for both
staffs and students. The selected network equipment and devices are listed below.
