The interconnecting place in the model is the shared values that explain the beliefs
and attitudes of the organization whereas structure defines how the different units of the
organization are connected to each other (Hope 2014). System deals with the process of work
to be followed within the workplace such as hiring, rewards facilities. Staffs explain the total
number of employees within the workplace. Style refers to the management style that follows
by every organization. Talents and skills of the employees to perform their respective job to
achieve organization’s goals and strategy help to implement better plans (Shiri, Anvari and

Working of McKinsey 7S framework
The 7S Mc Kinsey model works depending on the theory that for better performance
of any business organization, all the seven values should be interlinked. This model works to
improve the level of performance of the organization, and focus to implement best strategy
within the workplace (Krylov 2017). Therefore, Aurecon Company can access each of the
seven process of the mentioned framework in order to enhance their overall revenue.
Appropriateness of this framework in Aurecon Singapore
The mentioned model will help the managers of the Aurecon Company to determine
strategies so that they can overcome the managerial issues in their organization.
Skills
One of the chief concerns of the mentioned company is the lack of skilled labour.
Considering the fact that Aurecon Company is an engineering and project management
company, it is really crucial for them to have skilled staff who can efficiently enhance the
productivity and quality of the product and service given by the company (Ravanfar 2015).
With the help of McKingsley’s 7S model, the company will be able to assess the strengths
and weaknesses of the current skill management strategies of Aurecon Company (Rudnicki
and Vagner 2014). This in turn, will enable the managers to identify the loopholes like lack of
training or motivation. Identification of the specific issue will make it easier for the
management to handle the situation and eventually obtain success. This framework will also
enable the company to identify the skilled workers and implement strategies to retain them.
