Introduction
The purpose of this briefing report is to provide suggestion for the change in policy and also
provide strategies which is turn assist to improve the results and ensure that the Set for Skilling
Program is effectively implemented. Hence, through this briefing report, it will be easy for the
company to examine the strategies which is implemented during the program.
Suitability of current policy
The current policy is not satisfactory because it lead to decrease employee’s retention and this
cause negative impact upon the employee performance. Moreover, Aus Accountancy is
adhering the laws and legislation but still the working environment is not appropriate and as a
result, over the last 12 months company is found ot challenging to attain and maintain
adequately trained staff.
Overview of relevant legislation
Provide an overview key legislation related to diversity. Ensure you identify and outline key
features of relevant current legislation regarding: age discrimination: It means the company should treat all the employees equally
without discriminating them on the basis of age and as a result they enjoy same
opportunities as well.
disability discrimination: Under this law, if any company found discriminating the
person on the basis of disability then it is against the law. Actually this occur when a
person is treated less favourably and do not given same opportunity as others in similar
situation due to their disability.
racial discrimination: Due to their race, most of the company do not recruit the people
and this in turn consider as a racial discrimination. Such that in Australia most of the
company do not recruit people if they belongs to indigenous and this in turn consider
against law.
sex discrimination: The discrimination perform on the basis of gender i.e. male and
female which is so common. As company prefer male to perform field work instead of
women and it is a sign of sex discrimination.
human rights: Every people have a right to speak, accept other religion freely and share
their views in a company without any discrimination.
equal opportunity: It means people have a right to take participate in any place and it is
a legal definition of freedom from discrimination.

Overview of Dispute Resolution Policy and Procedures
In Aus Accountancy, every employee have a right to share the complaint whether it is
formal or informal to their supervisor. For that, a hierarchy is set in order to deal with the
situation. Such that an employee first share the problem with supervisor and if they do not find
any solution then meet with manager. If manager do not provide any solution then they go to
another officer such as CEO and Board of directors in order to get proper solution. This in turn
help to solve the dispute and make changes.
Feedback and suggestions
By reviewing the same, it is analysed that company has to focus upon the gender
discrimination and for that there is a need to update in policy. Also, it is suggested to develop a
training session name as Set for Skilling Program in which all employees should be aware with
such policy and provide proper solution to get bets outcome. Hence to implement the same, a
notice is forwarded to all which in turn assist to let all employees know about the new change
and request them to take participate in the same.
