Change is the only constant that is present in the business environment. It is crucial for the
organization to regularly keep on changing their system or process in order to successfully grow
and survive in the external business market. In the given case of AusEd company, it should be
noted that the company is proposing to shift their activities on MYOB to Xero accounting for the
better functioning of the accounting system of the company. The not for profit organization has
divided its activities into three segments that are sales, course delivery and operations. It was
found out that majority of the student present with the organization are from Australia, Papua
New Guinea and the South Pacific Islands and online too. The head of the Darwin found out that
the employees were facing difficulty in attain resourceful information about the organization
from the MYOB because initially they have to fill some information in and then they will receive
the information that they require. However, this type of system was reducing the efficiency of
the employees to work because it is complicated to function. So, the company emerged with the
need to use Xero accounting software instead of MYOB for the better efficiency of the business
functions (Hornstein 2015).
There would be many key stakeholders in a not for profit organization looking forward at the
changes suggested by the organization and thriving benefits from such change. The key
stakeholders in the given case would be employees, government, board of trustee, students,
volunteers and the community. Further, talking about the message that the company need to
share with the stakeholders is that they should initially propose the change among the donor and
fund raisers in the community. As the organization is a not for profit business so it is crucial for
them to seek approval of its people before taking any step in the business environment because
one wrong step can make them pay high penalty in the external environment (Hayes 2018).
While proposing the Xero accounting system, the organization to clearly state the issues faced by
the employees in using MYOB and how the Xero software can efficiently resolve it. So, the
message that should be conveyed while proposing the change is that, the as a solid firm are
growing day by day to provide insightful education to the children around the world (Alvesson,
and Sveningsson 2015). However, they are facing issues in the internal system of the business
that is reducing the external process as well. Due to which the business is suggesting to change
the external MYOB software into Xero accounting system for the efficient working and service
delivery of the business. Due to this change, the organization would be able to adequately deliver

for the organization is ineffective performance of the staff of the organization. Secondly, it
should also be noted that another reason for the change management process in the organization
is develop a support structure for the staff present at different branches of the company
(Cameron, and Green 2015). The technical team can themselves resolve the issues of the staff
present at the head office (Darwin) but they cannot resolve the issues faced by other employees
of the company. Thus, in order to provide support to the functioning of all the employees of the
company and increase the service delivery in the business, the organization required to
implement change in the business environment. Concluding, the above mentioned statement, it
should also be noted that change is important for any business to maintain its efficiency in the
external environment. Change helps the business to keep them updated and competitive in the
market. In the given case of AusEd, the company requires to implement change in order to
reduce the difficulty level of the employees and increase the efficiency of the business (Dawson
2019).
