Strength
The company Stone and Woods Breweries is famous in the market of Australia for the
quality of products served by them. The brand image of the company is its biggest
strength.
The company also provides variety of products to its customers naming Pacific Ale,
Jasper Ale, Stone Beer, Garden Ale etc. that increases their market share in the target
market. Stone and Woods Breweries offer a wide range of drinks that gives a choice to
customers to opt for a drink within their brand only (Watne, & Hakala, 2013).
The company has earned various awards naming Champion Large Australian Brewery in
2016 and Regional Award in 2014 (Telstra NSW Business Awards). Pacific Ale product
of the company also earned a silver medal at World Beer Cup.
Weakness
The most popular beer of the company that is Pacific Ale faced potential chemical
contamination. Queensland Health gave warning to this product due to its illicit effects on
the customers.
People started less consuming the products of the company due to negative influence
created by Queensland Health.
The company has great scope of expansion in the external international market however;
they are limited to regional markets of Australia (Duarte Alonso, Bressan, & Sakellarios,
2016).
Although the company is growing in the target market but with the slower pace as the
management is not trying to attain growth with market penetration strategies. This states
that the internal management of the company is not strong enough to successfully
implement the activities of the company in target market.

The company Stone and Woods Breweries Company is present on the top most position
of brewing industry in Australia which provides an opportunity to them to enter and lead
the international market as well.
The international market has yet unexplored by the company due to which the
organization gain the opportunity to maximize their shares along with increment in sales
as well (Aleti, Harrigan, Cheong, & Turner, 2016).
As discussed above that the organization is known for the quality and the taste of its
products offered due to which the organization can attain competitive advantage in the
target market providing the products that are differently identified in the target market.
The company has large opportunity to target the niche market and expand their sales as
well.
Threat
The opportunities of the company are their biggest threats as well. As the brewing
industry is one of the fastest growing industry due to which the level to which the
company gains the opportunity is the same level to which the company gains threat as
well.
There is a threat of possibility that market expansion can devalue the present image of the
company in the target market (Alonso, Alexander, & O’Brien, 2018).
Many competitors present in the Australia market are constantly trying to gain
competitive advantage over them. Many states are becoming alcohol free that is
decreasing the scope of growth for the company.
