Green infrastructure is an initiative taken to transform the cities by maintaining the
greenery of state. The main significance of this method is that it is a movement that develop the
functional and social strategies by connecting the system with biosphere (Green Infrastructure

TASK 2
Metropolitan cities of Australia like Melbourne is building the strategy to expand the
greenery within the state. So to practice the afforestation I along with my team members will
make the strategy to expand the population of trees within 2 years. To carry out this practice I
will manage my time by making the practical contribution in weekends and utilise other days to
remain connected with the other team member in order to discuss the innovative ideas that will
lead to desirable outcome. Along with this it is vital to develop the relationship with the
neighbouring communities and communicate the local residence regarding the importance of

greenery. Thus, interpersonal interaction with the people to develop the green infrastructure not
only help to enhance the tree health but can also help to generate the awareness among people.
Therefore, due to such practices people will also take the initiative and we will able to complete
the project within specific time duration.
The role of effective communication as well as leadership skill is to overcome the
constraint while building proposed changes for the green infrastructure within Australia. Like,
Interpersonal skill which is the part of communication skill helps me to develop the sound
relationship with different stakeholders such as industries, university as well as residential area
that contribute to bring the proposed changes within the society.
Effective leadership style assistassists the whole team to come up with the innovative
idea due to which whole team conducted the research and I explore new ways to carry the plan
by forming network with agencies with the motive to transform idea into reality.
Thus, by working in such large scale project has enhanced my communication,
negotiation, persuasion and most important public speaking skill which will help me to develop
my career in more efficient manner. Like, I can get the opportunity to work with various large
companies and agencies who engages in the CSR activities. Hence, the foremost advantage by
working in such projects is that I will able to add value to the lives of people which will
automatically develop me professionally.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been determined that green infrastructure step is taken to
conserve the ecosystem, encourages the rain water harvesting habits that offer the benefit or
value to the wildlife as well as people. It is a significant practice that support the individual and
encourages active travelling by attracting the suitable investments.
