Studying in Australia will help me in improving my career prospects by helping me in enhancing
my knowledge and skills as well as get enormous job opportunities overseas and in Australia.
There will be a great chance to gain an opportunity to try new experiences, explore new places
and make new friends (Chesters, Rutter, Nelson & Watson, 2018). Through my institution, I may
get a chance to travel to different portions of Australia and enter a higher-level qualification. The
program is associated with previous studies as it possesses different types of majors as well as
specializations along with significant teaching styles. It includes the characteristics of peer-to-
peer education that involves successful networking and business people among students from
different backgrounds. It aims at being a well-rounded business graduate rather than being an
expert in a single field. The program includes courses which provide credit to students that can
be utilized to enter into the university degree. It also involves vocational training and education
course along with English language preparation (Teo & Chang, 2018). This program will help
me in developing fluency in writing and speaking at the time of completing specific credit-
bearing academic classes. It possesses a one-year introduction that helps students for their entry
within the university and is regarded as a full degree curriculum. Completing this particular
program will help students in enhancing their skills.
I have acknowledged that the pathway program is not available in my home country that made
me come to Australia to pursue higher education. I decided to study in Australia due to its high
standard of living, excellent education system and laid-back as well as friendly nature. One of
the significant factors is the increasing emphasis on scientific research, where Australia makes
efficient use of innovations and technology to enhance its educational system (Min & Falvey,
2018). Australia provides an enormous opportunity to gain an outstanding education from best
institutions. It provides a world of career opportunities and learning within a welcoming and safe
environment. It also helps students, along with their parents, to enjoy an unparalleled level of
financial and service protection (Chan et al., 2018). Thus, it can be said that the country is highly
committed to facilitate a high-standard education to students.
Different researches have been done into Australian universities that led to choosing Griffith
University, which include scientific research, knowledge-based research, observation and study
of different reports and documents. I have chosen Griffith over other universities in Australia

because it offers the quality of education along with strong research areas. Besides this, it offers
more than 200 degrees to the students, and it is deeply connected with the Asian region as well
as inspiring the surrounding community. The students can select a range of disciplines in
undergraduate as well as postgraduate studies in various subject areas which includes
government, business, science and aviation (Rose, Arthington, Connell & Rickson, 2017). The
university also provides several services and facilities for the students. It also contains amenities
that comprise of sports clubs, laboratories, well-equipped library, studios and learning spaces.
Griffith College is considered as the best pathway for acquiring a degree at Griffith University in
Australia. It develops a bridge to overcome the academic gap for around 16,000 students to assist
them in achieving their aim to become a successful graduate of Griffith University. The college
is located on the gold coast campus of the university. It is essential to study the pathway program
offered by Griffith College because it helps the students to get prepared for the study at
University (Harvey & Szalkowicz, 2016). However, pathway programs include foundation,
master degree, diploma and another degree which support the students to obtain entry to Griffith
University. The pathway program offered by the college also aids the students to accomplish
their study goals as well as identify the requirements to meet the standards for entering into
research, postgraduate and undergraduate degrees (Morgan, 2019).
I have particularly chosen to study in Queensland because of several reasons. One of the
foremost reasons is that it is reasonable as well as accommodating for the students with restricted
finances (Summers, Cavaye & Woolcock, 2019). It is the place where the universities provide
high-quality education at low fees. Moreover, the number of service industries and strong
economy present in Queensland that provide a range of opportunities to international students to
work and study. It is enriched with various cultures as well as people and is not bound to adopt a
deterring lifestyle.
