1. Considerations needed by Events officer while evaluating proposal
The Australian Beach Games & Food Truck Carnivale will be held from 29 November to 1
December 2019 in the country. City of Port Adelaide Enfield is the governing council and event
officer has to take various aspects into consideration for success of event. First of all, waste
management should be taken into account (Higgins-Desbiolles, 2018). It is required to ensure
that no wastages around the beach side is done and same is not spilled in sea also. Further,
Health and safety of people is important as tides may cause by rise and fall of sea levels and
hence same must be analysed before. During rise of sea level, safety of people is required and for
this, lifeguards must be present in sufficient number.

negative impacts
Positives
Generating revenue
Offering golden opportunity to people to enjoy at Semaphore sea side
Fun with friends and endless sport entertainment.
Negatives
Noise pollution from loud music and public screams
Air pollution from vehicle emissions
The positives outweigh negatives of organizing sport event at the beach. People will have
good time with their friends and family. Moreover, entry pass is free along with free outdoor
movie. Noise pollution will be controlled by not playing music after 11 pm. Air pollution would
be managed by parking vehicles far away from sea side.
3. Discussing how event delivers strategic objectives
The Australian Beach Games & Food Truck Carnivale within the council of City of Port
Adelaide Enfield will deliver various strategic objectives. It will encourage tourism in Australia
and foreigners will come to know about the event and hence can plan their trip for it (Hoye et al.
2018). Moreover, local community will be encouraged to showcase their talents in front of large
public. Local arts and culture will show story of Australia to people from different parts of the
world. Further, it will increase the inflow of income for society from the events. Hence, it can be
