Introduction
The aim of the research paper is to deeply analyze the perspective of the community
sectors which are situated in Australia. It will put further research in the contemporary
perspective of the community sector in Australia. The paper will be determining the role of the
government organizations within the community sectors of Australia. It will also explore the
roles of the non government organization within the community sectors. In the end of the paper it
will put forward the recommendation which will consist then importance of both the sectors in
community development in a country like Australia. The Australian Community Workers agency
was developed in the year 1960 in the Sydney which consisted of various types of workers from
various types of background. They were all associated and had taken various types of projects to
achieve the goals for the community development.
Historical perspective of the community sector
As the health and community services which are present in Australia can be defined with
the importance of the services which are provided by the Australian Community Sector. The new
and very important definition which is provided by the organization is that it will be providing
the community with all the local services. The organization will be providing several other
different types of functions within the community by different types of activities that are known
to target the different people in the locality of the country. There were various types of social
justice like the movement of the 1970 had contributed to the development of the community and
rise the health care services that were provided to the community (Teasdale, Donaldson and Roy
2018) The challenges were faced by the monopoly of the biomedical school of science. At that
time the movement of the 1970 was very effective where the social, economic, and political

conditions were seen as the most important factors which will be able to contribute to the health
and well being of the community of people.
There were also various type of protest campaigns which had the aim of protecting the
services which were currently dealing with the community health services. In the late of the
1980’s a campaign which was named as the Campaign against Entrepreneurial Medicine
mobilized the super clinics which were supporting the mobs of the Australian community
(Aboagye, Akuffo & Khan 2019). The challenges which were faced by the neo liberal market of
the protests are mainly market oriented and thought that they were dominating the government
sphere.
Contemporary perspective of the community sector
The contemporary perspective of the community sector in Australia can be defines the
community development process which consists of the community members where the members
get well support and trainings from the training campaigns. The agencies are there to undertake
various types of tasks which fully depends on the collaborative actions which determines various
issues that are very much important to them to maintain the community development Bishop, &
Connors,(2018). The outcome of the community development is very special to the country
where both the potential comes from the individual and communities that are developed. `It is
also said that the children and families are directly involved in the community development of
the country. The initiatives which are taken by them increase the skills, knowledge,
empowerment and self accuracy (Mullally, Dunph & O’Connor 2018). As the community
members are getting over powered with the work that is put to them it is also badly or negatively

development agencies are that they are not one off events which are consulting the informal
goals or the strategies, community advisory groups or the committee or the leadership trainings.
The use of the community development in Australia was to address the social and community
issues by creating change at the community or the neighbourhood level. The community has
worked for the aboriginal and the Torres strait islander communities where the community has
made a good approach in using the aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community just because
of the enabled self determination and building capacity of the movements (McAllister, Davidson
& Marshall 2018).
The role of non government organisations within community sector
The non government organizations set out the ameliorate the plight of the people who dare to
need of life sustaining the facilities of the project. The non government organizations had various
type of roles which had an aim in developing the aspects of the community development such as
community mobilization, environmental factors, health facilities, sanitation awareness creation
and promotion of child right laws (Beddoe & Maidment 2017). It promoted the sexuality and
reproducti.ve health care facilities and fought against the child labour and human trafficking, etc
Some of the NGO’s were fully financially supportive (Mellor, 2018). The donors were most
probably World Bank, European Union and Niger Delta Development Commission. Few of the
NGO’s whose activities were to promote the prominent in Edo state that includes the Body
enhancement, Annual Reconstructive Surgery (BEARS) foundation. According to the author
Laffin (2018) the non government organizations should participate in the funding of the NGOs
activities (Knowles, Radnor and Bateman 2018).

The local government bodies are some of the organizations where the people enjoys a
channel through which the community feels the pulse of the higher levels of the government. The
government had a clear bottom up level of approach where they had a great planning and on the
social, economic, technology and cultural health related issues. These issues were fully solved by
the governmental bodies (Araújo 2017). There was an absence in the good governance in
Australia, the government organization played a very important role in the expected level of
democracy. The government organizations has also helped the community in developing the
technology in the areas, of housing construction, infrastructure, agriculture and other allied
activities which can be preserved in the autonomous local community (Nagaraj and zMotiram,
2017).
Recommendations
Although the community development plans were developed by the different CDQ groups
members in some of the important respects, the specific elements are included (Stupples &
Teaiwa 2018) . Each of the Community development strategies should drive income from the
large stacks through the development of the fishery through royalties and employment which
will be able to develop the strategies (Njoh 2017).
Conclusion
In order to conclude the above research paper it can be said that the research paper has
completed all the above topic which were discussed in the introduction. The level of the
participation of the community members in the government as well as the non government
organizations in order to provide a community development assistance to the society. However
the research paper has identified the several challenges that has affected the roles of the local

government for the community development which includes the autonomy of local government.
This helps in bridging the gap between the community involvement between the government and
the non government organizations.
