Research Overview and Justification
The research is based to study the growing trend of e-commerce industry in Australia and the
relative impact on customers and their choices. The research shows that there is no such single
cause to affect the customer choices there must be multiple choices and patterns associated with
the global venture and future of the retail and other business affected by using e-commerce more
in the industry. This research will help to identify the factors affecting the e-commerce industry
and the changes in the choices and preference of the customer. The research will also identify the
relative impact of both the factors on the industrial growth and customer demands. The need for
this research is to identify the selling platforms. This research will also highlight the impact on
other selling platforms and their future strategy.
Condensed Literature Review
Ecommerce can be understood as internet-based platform to sell products and develop business
in the market. According to Sohaib (2014), there are 85% of Aussies that are connected to the
internet and major e-commerce giants like Amazon has been rapidly covering the customer base
and market segment of Australia. Ranging from exclusive items to grocery shopping everything
is available on these platforms thus helping the customers who feel shopping as an individual
task in their daily routine. As per the study of Barnes (2013) eCommerce has been affecting an
overall growth and development need of the people and associated values with buying and
selecting. This industry has reduced the stress and frustration levels among consumers as they
can now easily select the desired products and services associated with the research. This has
empowered the customer and has given them ease and power to buy their needs. This platform
gives them multiple buying options and they can even select the same product on a better price
on multiple platforms. According to Hamad (2018), these have given them a large platform for a
small purchase and also help them to go through multiple options at a time. Ecommerce can
overcome the issues associated with vast market places and multiple shop buffering that has been
very tiring for the customers. Ecommerce has also instigated impulsive buying feature among the
customers as now while buffering they actually buy the product. Products on sites like Alibaba

and e-bay are at times on a very low and nominal rat thus affecting the demand of the product in
the market and make changes accordingly. Ecommerce has been giving customers a platform to
give their suggestion about the product and services associated with the issues (Hajli, 2012).

Methodology
The research will be based on a comparative research design that is based on quantitative
analysis of data and resources that can be used in order to make sure there is an effective
collection of data and resources associated with the values that can be used in order to study the

will also study customer development and changes in the buying and selection trends of the
customer. The need for this research is to study the current level of satisfaction and study
associated with the research and making effective changes in the overall developmental
platforms associated with the research and make changes in the same effect. This research will
study the actual behavior of the people and take a sample size that calculates the overall needs
and associated values for the growth and development of an individual and making changes in
