Introduction
The project is about upgrading the project which is associated with the lecture capture in
an Australian University. This particular project has been commenced in the year 2017 and it
consist of the objectives for upgrading the lecture capture facility which is to be included with all
of the 5 campuses. The mentioned 5 campuses mainly includes around 160 classrooms and the
project staffs are required to be associated with the direct physical access to the capture of lecture
which requires certain up gradation. The experience of the users is used for ease management
about all of the 150 devices that are required to be upgraded within a small span of time. During
the time of upgrading, the rooms that are used for lecture are not used for a long time. The team
of the project has been using their booking system along with the timetables of the class for
finding the suitable time for making the selected upgrades.
Problem description
The problem that is associated with the current project is that some of the rooms for the
lecture cannot be unlocked due to some issues. The appointed security officer of the campus are
not informed in a universal manner and the upgrades that would be occurred on the weekend.
During the process of implementation, some of the devices were not responding to the project
officers and also not responding to the upgrade code which is to be implemented in the project.
There is no such scheduled activity which are required to be shown in the lectures rooms and
would be used by the staffs of the project during their arrival. Moreover, each of the rooms took
longer period of time for incorrect devices that are used for unlocking the room.

Research methodology
The methods that is required to be used for mitigating the issues in the project along with
completing the assessment are mentioned as follows. Creating the register is an effective
procedure through which the issues might be mitigated within the allocated time for the project
management (Mir & Pinnington, 2014). It mainly helps in managing the risk that are directly
associated with the project. Reporting promptly and logging of issues are some of the methods
that is required to be used for completing the assessment or the project (Svejvig & Andersen,
2015). The progress is required to be monitored and resolution is also to be approved which
requires certain attention in assigning the actions that has been mentioned in the overall process
of project management.
Data Collection
The data that has been collected for this particular project is directly targeted on the
variables of the project which points out the answers for the questions. The upgrading of the
project at the Australian University mainly includes the project staffs who are responsible for
carrying out the project within the allocated period of time and available resources (Too &
Weaver, 2014). The university official personnel is required to asked certain questions about the
lecture rooms at which the up gradation process would be carried (Joslin & Müller, 2015).
Certain methods of collection of data has been applied in this case such as interviews of the
official personnel and observation of documents and records at which the project management is
to be implemented.
Data analysis
The data that has been collected for the project is required to be analysed for the
management of the project by data mining that are derived from various sources. It helps in

converting the data into certain format that are presentable in nature along with making
prediction (Hornstein, 2015). Both qualitative data as well as the quantitative data is involved in
the project from the process of the business. Time sequence and rate of occurrence is included in
the qualitative data which are processed from the collected data (Todorović et al., 2015). The
reports of incidents and daily report is also a part of qualitative data which help in pointing out
the issues in the overall process of project management.
Findings
The findings that has been derived from the data which has been collected for the project
includes both of the methods for assessing the data. Both qualitative data points out the
complaints from the customers and reports of the incident that has occurred and report of the
current status of the ongoing project (Marcelino-Sádaba et al., 2014). Moreover, the quantitative
data mainly points out the sequences of the time along with the rates of occurrence and deviation
of the process which are required to be implemented for upgrading the lecture classes of the
university. The issues in the case study highlights that some of the rooms cannot be unlocked
along with the restriction in the physical access to the lecture classes (Conforto et al., 2014). The
experience of the users is used for ease management about all of the 150 devices that are
required to be upgraded within a small span of time.
Recommendation
It can be recommended from the above study that the lecture rooms is to be unlocked
with using some techniques and every personnel of the university is required to be informed.
This would help in upgrading the activities which is beneficial for the project manager to carry
the project within the allocated time period. The booking system as well as the timetables of the
class help in carrying out the project that has been allocated for.

The above study is to be concluded by highlighting the issues and the results that has
been gathered from the findings of the project management. Creating the register is an effective
