Griffith University 7002ICT: Australian Post ERP System Design

This project undertakes a system design for an Australian Post Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) information system. The system design encompasses the design of the system components, including servers, databases, and network infrastructure, and the design of user interfaces, with storyboards illustrating key user interactions such as customer registration, login, and postage tracking. The project emphasizes best-practice user interface design concepts like consistency, interactivity, and clear labeling. It addresses security concerns, including SQL injections, cross-scripting attacks, worm and virus attacks, confidentiality breaches, and authentication/authorization attacks, and proposes mitigation strategies. The project also outlines the deployment of the solution, covering data conversion and initialization, user training, product environment configuration, component packaging, installation, and deployment, as well as change and version control. The solution operates within a networked environment, accessible via the internet for customers and through a local area network for employees, ensuring data security and efficient operation.
