the future as this would help keep the pace with growing necessities of the world. An authentic
assessment is a form of assessment in which the students are to perform a real-world task that
demonstrates meaningful applications of useful knowledge and skills. This paper, therefore,
discusses the attempting breakthrough in the use of technology to improve the assessment of the
students learning beyond the century-old methods in widespread use today.
Technologies support for authentic assessment.
Educational instructional methods are facing multiple challenges in the new millennium.
Institutions are broadening instructional techniques and approaches to assist the improve the
education system, calling for further assessment processes methodology. The use of technology
within assessment processes has potential benefits as it engages learners more productively as
well as with greater flexibility in both learning plus assessment, also provide higher efficiency as
well as effectiveness to the stuff in managing assessment activity.
Flexibility in learners enhances when students access content as well as engagement in the
process of learning and assessment in their place of choice and time. Wikis and discussion
forums as tools help in capturing and supporting student's involvement in the assessment task
more flexible.
Technology also enables online quizzes that allow more frequent practices then formative
assessment feedbacks on the simple conceptual capability. The assessment authenticity and the

With the use of technology, I would use robots during the teaching and the learning
process to assess my learners. Robotics integrates all STEAM fields as it can be involved in
problem-solving, critical thinking, engineering, coding, and math. In this case, students are
allowed to play with robots and program them to do whatever they want.as the do this, the
teacher gets to assess them (Lindeman, Jabot & Berkley, 2013).
STEAM assessment can also be through ketchup, which is very simplified but effective;
they enable students to sketch an idea from the sketched concepts. Similarly, the school can as

well set a school-based weather station to allow students to see in real-time how weather affects
life as well as help them analyze comprehensive weather data.
Nature activity.
Technology is used as an entity tool that helps in making learning about the natural world
exciting as well as making the learning process to be full of fun. This learning process keeps
students engaged, also can satisfy the student's curiosity. This could be through the use of
smartphone technology, which can ease the engagement teacher-student learning (Gaisina,
Bakhtizin, Mikhaylovskaya, Khairullina & Belonozhko, 2015).
SMART (Scientific and Mathematical Arenas for Refining Thinking) model is another
technological assessment strategy. It incorporates frequent opportunities for both teachers and
students for formative assessment. The use of this technology enables teachers and learners to
manage through various cycles of work and revision effectively. Genscope Is also an innovative
computer-based program that is designed to help students learn major ideas of genetic as well as
developing scientific skills.
Dramatic play activity
Technology tool helps preschoolers as they cannot read and write which in turns prevent
them from expressing them, hence this would bridge the gap allowing learners to communicate

The use of technology has eased may ways of communicating to parents; these include

supporting a tremendous learning experience for the students. The teachers and the students
hence find the assessment process more straightforward with the application of authentic
assessment. With the integration of technology, both teachers and parents can quickly assess
their children, whether in school or at home. Authentic assessment should, therefore, be
encouraged
