INTRODUCTION
Leadership is the process in which the leader perform the duties and responsibilities
performed by the leader of the organisation (Burns and et. al., 2017). It is the most important
activity that perform by the leaders for people and by people. It is important for the success and
growth of the organisation, that performed by the leader. It can be well understand with the help
of Steve Jobs case study in which, it shows the transformational leadership. This case study
undertakes the case study from which authentic and transformational leadership can be better
understand that how it effects the workforce productivity. Steve is that kind of person who
transform the business environment through their skills and talents. In this report, the role and
responsibilities of leaders can understand that how they react at the complex situations.

It is very well known that the two key person in the organisation that are the reason of
companies' success and growth i.e. managers and leaders. Sometimes both duties performed by
the one person such as Steve had done already. Steve is the founder, owner and leader of the
Apple who create the big company for the people and by the people. Leaders use their soft skills
whereas managers use their hard skills in the organisation to run their business. Managers have
specific roles and responsibilities but whereas leaders are the person who use various types of
quality to handle the workforce dynamic situation (Dartey-Baah, Anlesinya and Lamptey, 2019).
Leadership is very important element for the organisation, because their success and
failure depends on the role of leadership styles. The two styles of leadership that are very
necessary for success and growth of business are authentic and transformational leadership.
Transformational leadership is the most prominent style that is used in the organisation through
making the teams of person. In this leadership, leaders work with team so that they identify the
changes needed in the organisation to cope up with the applications of transformational
leadership environment. It also encourage and motivate the employees so that they create
something new on their skills so that it helps to shape the business success. The practical
applicability of transformational leadership is important for understanding the benefits of this
style. Some applications of transformational leadership style is given in the following points:

adopt transformational leadership through which organisations' workforce can accept
the challenges and changes of upcoming dynamic environment. There is most emerging
drastic situation that every organisation, country faces i.e. COVID-19. It is the worst
situation ever heard or faced by the countries. Due to this situation, many organisation
get into very high loss. But organisations can only deal with situation when they uses
transformational leadership style.
It also applicable on those organisations who have a long term goals in their aims.
Transformational leadership style helps to leader that they motivate or encourage leader
through which workforce increase their productivity and patience to deal with upcoming
situations and give great contributions for shaping the success and growth of business.
Steve Jobs have transformational leadership style that gives a huge success to the
organisation (Donia and et. al., 2016). With his success and growth the other leaders get
motivated and inspired that they should adopt his this style so that they can also achieve their
targets easily.

business i.e. authentic leadership. Authentic leadership style is one of the style that becomes
most effective style used by the leaders. It actually shows the real facet of leaders, that help to
know that they are genuine or doing some acting in the organisation. In the authentic leadership,
it shows the transparency, self awareness and genuineness of leaders in the organisation.
