AI Summary
This report delves into the realm of abnormal child psychology, with a specific focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It examines the core aspects of ASD, including its neurological basis and the various ways it manifests, such as through difficulties in social communication and interaction, as well as the presence of repetitive behaviors. The report highlights the challenges faced by individuals with ASD, including the impact on their daily lives, emotional well-being, and interactions with society. Furthermore, it explores the behavioral patterns, including repetitive movements and sensory sensitivities, often observed in children with ASD, and how these patterns can impact their learning and cognitive functions. The report also refers to the impact on their mental health, which includes anxiety and depression. The report also addresses the importance of understanding the different ways children with ASD react and the need to provide appropriate support and interventions. Finally, it provides references to relevant literature on the subject.

Abnormal Psychology of a Child
This branch of psychology studies particular patterns and structure which
is in unusual patterns which studies different emotions, thought procedure
and behaviour of an individual. This might be or might not be always to
study some mental disorder (Kring and et. al., 2017). There are two major
bifurcations which can be done in studying such patters is either
psychological or biological explanation. Any person’s behaviour depends
over the fact that there are multiple reasons to full fill all the demand and
exceptions in the cases. There are several health and mental disease which
are studies in this and one of them is autism spectrum disorder.

Autism spectrum disorder: It is based on a neurological and
developmental disorder that generally begins in early childhood and it
will last throughout the life spam of an individual. It generally effects
over a person’s reaction, decision making system, time management or
speaking and understanding disorder. It was previously known as
Asperger syndrome. It’s generally known as a spectrum disorder where
any person can have a huge range of syndromes. People with such issues
have to go through several issues such as they have to work as per the
way society treats them they are not treated equally they have issues in
talking to other people which generally creates more psycho-logical
issues in their brain like depressions and anxiety.

Abnormal Psychology of a Child
Social communication and interaction is a lot big exception which can
happen to generally any person but due to their appearance or thinking
procedure or low understanding functioning people tend to disfigure and
neglect people having such syndrome (Curtis and Kelley, 2019).
Causes
Pattern of behaviour: they have very limited and repetitive
patterns of workings which might conclude them in being normal. Some
of them are:
Perform repetitive movements like clapping and rocking.
Perform activities which cause or harm, them physically.
Have one or two patterns which if changed makes them angry.
They might be clumsy in nature and lazy in performing any
activity.
Usually very sensitive to high beam lights, sound or touch of any
other individual, they get very hyper while working in with some
new person they don't know.

Symptoms
Some children show the signs of this in early age of infancy, some
of them are reduced eye contact, lack of response changing and giving
indifference to caretakers. In some cases the first few months of child are
very normal and then such things start to appear in the way. Also the
biggest challenge is to make them learn language and basic chores
involving day to day life practices. Every child has a different pattern of
reaction and this can be reacting very low or high on function (Wright,
2019).
Some have issues in learning and understand things, they do not
remember or recall things taught to them which eventually causes them to
formulate and guide them as per the given format. They are quick learners
but they forget things faster as well.
