1. Functional and Non-Functional Requirements:
The functional requirements are as following.
Inventory Management: The system should be able to track the import and export of
product from the inventory. The system will be connected to an IoT device which can read the
bar code of every product being imported into the inventory. At the time of picking up product
from the inventory, the scanning is also important so that system can update export of product.
Future Prediction: The warehouse management system must provide accurate details
regarding future prediction of product stock required. The system will provide entire details of
what type of products to be stocked and how much for each month.
Authentication: Authentication is essential because the system cannot automatically
recognize if a user is authorized to use the system or not. The authentication method will process
the information of customer and check if user is valid. Authentication is done mainly through the
login process.
Authorization: Authorization is highly significant requirement of the system. In
authorization, the system checks if the user is allowed to access the information. Taken as an
example, management can request for reports but the warehouse staff cannot.
The non-functional requirements are as following.
Security: As the system will be handling core of business, it will store many sensitive
data. The system must secure these data from an outsider at any cost. Prevention of DoS attacks
are also important because server down can damage business.

Usability: The system interface should simple enough to allow users get required
information in one or two clicks. The navigation must be highly effective. All the essential
information must be available in the home screen.
Learnability: Not having proper idea of how to use the system can cause issues in the
business operation. The system should have all the hints and guidance so that users can easily
and quickly learn to use the system.

Manage Inventory: The super admin or the management will be maintaining the
inventory. The amount of stocks to be filled in the inventory to how much will be exported all
will be done under the supervision of warehouse manager.
Manage Purchasing: The staff of warehouse or system users will be handling the
purchase process.
Manage Receiving Stock: The warehouse staff will scan barcode of upcoming products.
They will deliver the products to allotted location in the warehouse. The confirmation against the
received stock will be done by staff.
